Celeste sighed as she walked through the Dragon's Den, wringing water out of her wet hair. While scaling the waterfall wasn't particularly difficult thanks to Yvain, getting wet was a rather undesirable side effect. Her hair took ages to dry.

As she continued walking, Yvain, her Milotic, slithered next to her. He scanned the area, ever vigilant, and occasionally stopped when he heard a far off noise. Although, when no immediate threats cropped up, he managed to relax just a bit. Celeste just smiled faintly at his actions. She had entered the Den in hopes of finding a female dragon-type for breeding purposes. And, it was always nice to know that Yvain had her back. Even though he wasn't trained for battling, he was a strong Pokemon in his own right, and worked together with Celeste like a charm.

Yvain tenses in warning as a Fraxure lumbers out into the open. It stares at them for a moment, sizing them up, before narrowing its eyes and snorting. The Fraxure was obviously rearing to go, and Celeste toyed with the idea of catching it. Then, she realized that it was male.

"Yvain," she said as her Milotic moved to stand between her and the wild Pokemon. "Use Ice Beam."

As Yvain began building a ball of energy, the Fraxure took the chance to leer at him. The Milotic tensed for a moment, unbidden shivers running down his spine, before he recovered himself. Releasing his move in a bright beam of light, Yvain hit the Fraxure head on, knocking it onto its back as it howled angrily. And, although it managed to push itself to its feet, Celeste noticed that it was panting and had stumbled a bit.

"One more Ice Beam should finish it off," she told Yvain who nodded in response. Obediently, he charged up yet another attack in the time it took for the Fraxure to regain its bearings and struck it again. This time, when the chilly winds subsided, the Fraxure didn't get back up.

"Good job," Celeste complimented her Milotic, patting its side affectionately. "Now, let's keep going. We still have a female dragon-type to find."

Defeated the Fraxure.
Yvain gains 1 EXP.
