Getting Started:

1) Make sure you've read and understand the rules & important info.
2) Change your username to the name of your character.
3) Create a profile in the Character Application board, making sure to fill in all the required info.
4) Wait for the profile to be accepted/make any necessary changes.
5) Post in the Face Claims thread with your character and their claim.
6) If your character is a student, claim a dorm room.  There should be a "(Dormname) Dorm Room Chart" thread in the main board of each dorm, so just make a post there saying which dorm room you want (as long as it's available).
7) Make a PC.
8) Make a Plotter and/or Tracker (optional)
9) Add the links to your profile and PC (and your plotter, if you have one) in your mini profile.  If you have an image for your avatar, set that up as well.
10) Start roleplaying!  You can start on your weekly/fortnightly tasks (explained below) or by making threads for other people to join.

Your Weekly/Fortnightly Tasks:

All these are optional, but can help you build your dream team.  The week resets every Sunday, so the actual day of the week you do these doesn't matter.

1) Mod Threads - You can have two of these per week.  There are three boards connected to each dorm that contain wild Pokemon for you to encounter, and you can post in the restricted zones once your character is granted access.  Basically, if there's a locked and stickied "(Board Name) List" thread in the board, you can post a mod thread there.
2) Berry and Herb Gathering - You can collect five berries (or herbs, or some combination) per week
3) Pokemon Dojo - You can make an RP post here every other week to get one of your Pokemon some extra EXP.
4) Fossil Cave Excavation - You can dig in the fossil cave every other week for a chance at a fossil or some other item.  These can be kept or exchanged for points, as explained in the first post of the thread
5) Breeding - If you have Pokemon in compatible egg groups, you can breed them every other week for eggs that you can hatch, trade, or exchange.
