It was no surprise to find Alex somewhere else in such little time, he was an avid adventurer and was always traveling around. Perhaps that was his downfall when he tried to connect with people. He just never sticks around long enough to solidify anything, oh well. Things happen, you can't cry over spilled milk right? 

Speaking of Solid he had hoped that this was the right area to catch a steel type? Despite being good at traveling Alex was terrible at remembering things, like where to find specific pokemon. It was the one issue he had with classes. He was great at following directions but because he had a hard time remembering things he was a horrible test taker.

Anways Cerberus walked along his trainer as they were searching the area for a possible steel type. Cerberus wasn't too sure that this place would have any. Too many gaps and what not. But who knows? Speaking of which, there was sound just around the corner of the road they were on. Alex and Cerberus looked at one another and then back at where the sound was coming from. Alex shrugged and peeked around the corner to see what it was.

Aww what a cute ball of orange feathers! Alex never seen anything so cute in his entire life. He was sure this was a torchic and it would evolve to a Blaziken which would be awesome to have on his team.

"Alright! What a sweet find! Come Cerberus we gotta catch it."

Cerberus looked up at his trainer like srs bro?

"Yes I'm serious! It may look cute and fluffy now but when it evolves it will be boss as hell. Now don't give that look it's time to catch a pokemon!"

Cerberus yawned but he nodded, if this is what Alex wanted then by all means. Cerberus got into position, the Torchic noticed this and took a battle stance as well.

"See!? It knows what's up! Now use Nasty Plot."

Cerberus used Nasty Plot to increase his S. Atk. Torchic wanted to go in had and used fire spin on Cerberus. Cerberus being part fire type didn't take too much damage.

"Nice! That's the spirit Torchic! Cerberus lay a Dark Pulse on the Torchic so we can wrap this up!"

Cerberus partially ignored the damage it took from Fire Spin and released Dark Pulse. It hit the Torchic and knocked it out, being that it was powered up by Nasty Plot. Alex took out a pokeball and tossed it at the Torchic. It was easily caught.

"Nice! Good job Cerberus! Let's get you patch up and grab some grab okay?"

Finally his trainer was speaking his language. If there was one thing Cerberus loved more than sleep it was Food. He was so looking forward to it now.
