Returning to Gray Haven Academy was certainly an unexpected surprise, as was having a job before she graduated. It wasn't an entirely unwelcome one either, even if it meant she'd have to do some annoying things. It didn't matter though, jobs were supposed to be annoying. That's why they had to pay you to do them. That said, she didn't have many of the same resources she did while at the school. In the school, she graduated at the top of her class, and excelled in every area they taught, not just coordination. Sadly, it seemed as though the school wasn't wiling to recognize many of those achievements in the name of 'fairness.' She didn't understand how putting her on the same level as those that just did contests was exactly fair, but she wasn't going to complain. All she had to do was do it all again.
Sadly, most of the pokemon she caught while at school were no longer with her. Most of them were sold to help pay for law school because she didn't want to rely on her parents' money. Hell, she didn't want to talk to either of them at all. Because she was able to rely on her own fame and power to get the money necessary to pay her way through, she didn't have to either. The only pokemon she kept were the ones she was either attached to for one reason or another, the ones she used in her performances, or the ones that she simply couldn't get rid of. Sadly, none of those were particularly well suited for battle. Thus, she was riding on her rapidash up the base of the volcano right outside her new living quarters. Rebuilding her team was the only reason she could be bothered to go outside, but even then, she didn't want to walk more than she had to.
Ideally, she'd be able to replace her battling team in its entirety. Her rapidash and ditto meant that she'd still be able to handle any breeding she wanted to, but even that would be difficult given how many of her remaining pokemon were male. Misja knew she wouldn't be able to challenge the gym leaders again as a warden, but she still wanted a competent team as to not look bad. The first step was to replace one of her old favorites: her ninetails. Hopefully she'd be able to find one here, or at least a vulpix she could train up.
((Prefer vulpix))
