Though he won't pass up a gathering of friends. He tends to hang back and listen, putting his opinion in whenever he deems it's needed. He often appears aloof or irritable, but this is just his default expression. His focus reads more like anger to those who don't know him well. His favorite thing is to climb trees and nap in high branches. This is his go to solution to clear his mind. He's an even tempered person, but his anger is not one to be taken lightly. He'd rather not strike with fists, but he has his own way of getting the point across. He appears intimidating, but that's just his default impression. History:
Growing up a city boy, Grayson was born and raised in Castelia City. He is the product of many years of trying. His parents had little hopes of ever having children. His parents met in Castelia City years ago. They had been traveling on their respective journeys. Both from different parts of Unova. His father was a trainer while his mother was a budding coordinator. They had bumped into each other by chance that day. It was almost like fate, though the two were forced to take separate paths due to their groups. His father had a gym battle and she had to continue training for her next contest. Though it wasn't until after their journeys were complete that they had found each other again. They became better friends and journeyed more before finally settling down in the very city they had met. Both had managed to keep up their careers, his father choosing to go into breeding rather than continue his travels. But his mother appeared in contests from time to time. Not long after, they married and the topic of children was raised. Though it wouldn't be until 3 years into the marriage that they would finally have a child of their own.
A baby boy was born to the surprised couple and was named Grayson. He was born on a rainy afternoon. He was raised around Pokemon and played with his parents' Pokemon every day. Being the only child, his parents tended to spoil him. Though he refused most of the treatment, choosing to work for the things he wanted. His parents made a decent living, Grayson helping his father with the Pokemon he bred. He enjoyed working with Pokemon from a young age. He aspired to journey just like his parents. He researched a lot of different types. He found his interests in ground types as well as bug types that could be found around Castelia City. His parents pushed him to do whatever he wished. He wanted to leave Unova and expand his skills.
He wasn't for certain what he wanted to do when it came to a career, but he wanted to be around as many kind of Pokemon as he could. So he did some research for different schools and learned from a friend of his parents about Grey Haven Academy. It was a prestigious school in Mavro City. He had been told it was on an island which had various species of Pokemon. Before he left for the Academy, a seemingly wild Gible appeared around his house. It had turned out that she had been abandoned by her trainer for being too aggressive. Though she didn't seem so bad around him and refused to leave his side. So Grayson resolved to take the Gible as his first Pokemon and left for the Academy. He was then given a Sandshrew as his official starter and sorted into his dorm. He keeps in contact with his family and aspires to learn all he can about Pokemon to determine what career he wants to take in life. For now he's content to take it slow and study all of his options.
