Personality: Upon first talking with Michael one is easily able to tell that the young man has an attitude problem, he’s rude and doesn't find the time to give into thing like social cues. Situations that require someone to talk politely to someone else are situations you don’t want Michael involved in; he’ll hurt your feelings and won’t give a second thought to it. Though this actually only applies for when Michael actual opens his mouth to talk, he normally doesn't bother interacting with others preferring to keep to himself. He’s built up a wall around his emotions and only allows a select few to actual peak behind the barrier he’s built for himself. The ones who actually manage to get Michael to let down his wall for them will find that he’s a caring and protective person to those close to him, easily willing to give up his life to ensure they don’t come to harm. When around these special people Michael is able to loosen up on his rather rude and serious attitude to become a person able to crack wise remarks and enjoy laughs, albeit the jokes that he makes aren't very good.

Despite the fact he comes off as brash and unintelligent Michael does actually have a good head on his shoulders, and he is rather smart for someone whose grown up living the life that he has. This is in part due to the fact he has an eidetic memory allowing him to recall events and images that he’s seen with great clarity, and while that alone doesn't result in him being smart it has certainly helped him catch up others. The young man also tends to be rather impatient in the sense that he has hard time sitting still and doing nothing with his time; if he could be doing something else then he would rather be doing something else. This can easily get on people’s nerves for the simple fact that if he’s supposed to be waiting for them, he’ll wander off to find something better to do instead of just standing still.

Creativity is something Michael has in abundance which actually works out rather well for him because his job as a Warden and a Trainer can require a lot of both from him. In fact when it comes to being a Trainer it could be said that Michael has a natural talent for it. His ability to read the flow of combat, and his unnatural talent for reading people has earned him quite a reputation. Perhaps another key factor to his ability as a trainer is that the young man is able to connect to Pokemon far easier than it is for him to form a connect with people.

Lastly despite how hard he tries to hide from the world Michael is an emotionally frail person, and the death of the woman he’s love hasn't helped this at all. While the past two years of his life have certainly helped him learn to deal with the loss of Sarah, it hasn't taken away the pain he feels in his heart. Sometimes certain smells or sounds can trigger memories about her and his heart will begin to twitch and ache as he knows he’ll never be able to see her again, and there can even be days where for no reason he finds himself remembering and won’t have the energy do anything at all. It’s easy to tell that moving on will be hard for him to do, if he can even do it at all but should a enough time pass or perhaps someone new enters into his life just maybe he’ll move on.
