Chloe is one of the most shy, introverted people you will ever meet. She's kind of always been that way, but it was made much worse when her father took her and her sister and kept them from their mother. He was a rather abusive sort, and the lies he told the girls had a huge impact on Chloe, leaving her a shell of her former self. She doesn't trust easily, she's terrified of raised voices (and raised is very subjective to her, it's probably a lot quieter of a level than you think), and she's jumpy and flighty. All of this, plus her incredibly close bond with her twin sister, makes it a bit harder to get close to her.

BUT, it's not impossible, and I would love for Chloe to get some friends and such. Chloe considers herself something of  Pokémon rescuer, taking the misfits and turning them into something great. At least that's the plan. So if you're interested in anything similar, that would make you a good candidate for a friend. If you include her in things but don't force her to come too far out of her shell right away, she'd probably adore you. In fact, someone much louder would probably make a perfect best friend - they would remind her of her twin, Faith. All of her friendships will take time, but it's not hard to get along with her. She's incredibly sweet, likes music, likes books, and likes the computer.

Negative (-)

A much easier category for the short term. Chloe is petrified of a lot of things - especially bigger men, especially with darker hair. Do you fit that bill? Well, she's probably already intimidated by you. Chloe was also bullied all through school for being the weird girl. She's come here for a new start, but let's be honest, sitting in the back of class, staying quiet, and spending more time with your Cubone than anything isn't going to make you popular. I would love for some people to bully her. Go ahead and make her miserable. If you don't torture your characters can you even say you love them?

Once she opens up a bit more in class, it could be fun to have someone just keep trying to one-up her and start a rivalry. It would likely shake her confidence - but it could also teach her more which would be nice.

If you're not super nice to your Pokémon, she'll likely also have an issue with you. Pokémon have been her only friends outside of her sister and so they're very valuable companions to her.

I'm not sure how this would work out, at least not at first. They'd have to be good friends first (she's demisexual). I think it'd be really cute if it was someone who was louder and took her under their wing, dragged her out every so often but not enough to really freak her out, and just understood how she is and still liked her anyway. There could be a lot of cute blushing because Chloe would be terrified to say anything - she's constantly convinced everyone will disappear from her life or hate her - but after a while they could prove that not everyone was going to do that to her and they could be cute. /hopeless romantic.

Of course before this happens maybe she could be with someone who she starts to trust and then they ditch her, breaking her heart. Then friend would pick up the pieces.

Also feel free to make her really uncomfortable with whistles in her general direction and random, nonsensical flirting.
