I'm always looking for new things to implement, and while I try to pay attention to the community I can't read everyone's minds. Is there something you wish existed? Something that you think would be really cool and/or interesting? Suggest it here! It's okay if the idea is vague or if you don't have any idea how to implement it, just having the idea in my head might be enough for me to build it! It doesn't matter if it's big or small as well, because even small ideas can make a big impact. Just look at how much less questions we're getting in the cbox after Bena and I reorganized the rules.

I don't intend to reply to this thread ever just so I can keep new features a surprise. I do encourage other members to comment on everyone's ideas though, because that'll both tell me what people want to see and possibly help flesh out the ideas a bit.

Here's a couple ideas that've crossed my mind:
- A pokemon researcher class - perhaps they progress by meeting more and different types of pokemon?
- Site-wide events are always fun. I’m assuming you don’t want anyone to catch a legendary (for obvious reasons), but it’s exciting when one shows up. Perhaps students have to work together to take down a legendary who’s wreaking havoc (be it destroying stuff or messing with people as darkrai or hoopa might) on the island for one reason or another? Or, since I’m also assuming Team Origin isn’t going to make any drastic moves just yet, maybe a team from another region decides to take the island over for themselves, and Academy and Origin alike must stop them?
- Pirates.
- Perhaps the reward for something difficult is one pokemon can learn one move that it normally can’t.

I agree on the Site Wide events and I like some of the ideas that Finley come up with.
If another evil team comes and moves into Origin Turf. *evil smirk* I'm sure Shadow would love to deal with troublemakers who come onto his home turf.

I would also like to know if and when Team Origin gonna get anymore missions. Shadow needs four to upgrade to elite as I've got the number of fully evolved pokemon already made.

i'm all for site-wide events!

i totally get that this site is character/member-driven for the most part, but i think it'd be fun for everyone to get involved in a major plot-line that could possibly help further their character's development. maybe these events could offer bonus exp or items as rewards, or prizes that we can't get anywhere else?

as far as missions go, i'm guessing that it's usually Bena who comes up with ideas for them, not just for Origin, but for everyone. but alas, we haven't seen her in a while...

speaking of staffers, do tell me if i'm getting out of line here. but have you guys ever considered hiring more of them? 1 or 2 perhaps, just to help lessen the workload for you guys. just a thought!

Speaking of missions, if help's needed to come up with them, members could send mission ideas to our great and powerful head mod to possibly be used/used after altering/etc, the caveat being the sender can't participate in said mission for balance and spoiler reasons (maybe there's a note in the mission that says "idea by user here").

Also, perhaps a means for characters to get badges and ribbons if there aren't any really active wardens left for them to face? Something like temporary NPC wardens, or perhaps that's even a mission; a challenger posts they need a warden, and another user can assume the role of an NPC warden for that battle/contest, and in return gets some rewards for one of their characters?
*is biased because I want to get Finley to VIP status for contests*

Speaking of NPCs... *I'm still biased for contests* maybe there could be created some NPC characters that can be dropped into threads if people need another person to have in a contest or a multi-person battle, or just someone they could use if they need to drop an NPC into their thread for RP sake because maybe they need a wild jerk to appear or something. Perhaps everyone in the thread could control them?

Like I said in the OP, I won't normally reply to this thread, but this one requires a response.

People are always welcome to send me mission ideas, with the caveat that I can change it as much as I want and I make the final decisions in that regard. Because of that, I wouldn't put any restrictions on the person that suggested it joining that mission. Because of that, you also don't need to have the complete mission post structure filled out, or even know what the exact story of the mission is going to be; just a premise is fine. Since we're doing missions The Kitten Way now, I try to make missions that either create some kind of plot or direct conflict between people, or reveal something about the setting in some way that people can pursue (and if you're not sure how, give it a shot and I might throw a Random Event at you to help it along).

Ideas for mission rewards would also be helpful. They're getting a bit repetitive.

For NPC wardens, I was planning on doing so after how our last attempt to patch the lack of wardens went. There's still enough wardens for people to challenge for now, so I haven't felt the need to bring it up RIGHT NOW. So if you're holding off on challenges, don't worry about it. There will be wardens for you to challenge later. When possible, I'd appreciate it if people challenged the existing wardens first, that way I don't have to do like 20 challenges at once or something. For people that want to help with challenges, just make a warden. It's okay if they're not that active, we've got plenty of warden space right now.

Hey guys, thanks for posting to this. If you have any more ideas, please keep them coming. KC and I will be looking over everything and seeing what can be implemented as we have time (and energy) to work on more than the daily/weekly maintenance.
