Some students may find this area creepy, but she rather liked it. Maybe it was because it resembled her dorm, or maybe it was just because she was drawn to supernatural creepy places. Either way, Toni made her way confidently – well, confidently for her – through the manor, her gaze searching the dark rooms and halls for any sign of a certain formless pink Pokemon. She’d tried this before, but failed. Maybe this time she’d succeed. If not, she could always try later, but it would be nice to bring home the ultimate breeder’s Pokemon today.

She thought she saw movement in the far corner of the room she’d just walked in, and she made her way toward it, her hand wrapping around the pokeball containing a member of her primary battling team. She wasn’t sure which she was about to summon, but that didn’t matter. They could all use the training, and she was sure they could all handle anything they might run into here.

She tossed her Pokeball, and out came Fluorite, flapping in furious circles around her. Wow…what had her so stirred up? Unfortunately, what came out of the shadows wasn’t a Ditto, but…another Noibat? Huh…she didn’t know those lived here! The sight seemed to confuse Fluorite, too, but then she calmed down, landing to sniff at the Noibt.

After a moment, she squeaked at the wilkd Pokemon, who seemed to be laughing in response. The Noibat vanished in a puff of smoke, revealing a Zorua. Then, before either trainer or trained Pokemon could react, the Zorua dashed into the hall and disappeared.

Toni sighed and scratched behind Fluorite’s ears. “Well…that happened. Let’s just go on home.”

The Noibat squeaked in reply and climbed onto her trainer’s shoulders. Toni made her way out of the manor and back toward the dorm.
