Luke wandered through the manor, reflecting on what life choice led him to this spook-fest. Shadows seemed to dance around him as he made his way through the halls. Perhaps he should be scared, but he was having a hard time feeling it. Not when he’d seen young kids from the academy walk into the manor seemingly without a second thought.

A sound drifted toward him, and he started peering into the nearby rooms, wondering what he heard and where it was. In some places, sound seemed to bounce everywhere, making it hard to pinpoint something’s location just by listening.

Luke let Canyon out of her Pokeball and gestured to the Munna. “You know what to do.”

Canyon approached the Munna, and Luke sat down to watch. As long as some sort of interaction happened, he wasn’t too bothered about what Canyon did – the others had all grown through a variety of interactions with other Pokemon, so he’d continue using that method to train the remaining members of his primary team.

Canyon stopped at the Munna, who circled her. She lifted a paw, inviting the Munna to play, and the two headed off to do just that. Luke remained where he was for a while, content to let his Pokemon do whatever. When she failed to come back, though, he started getting worried and stood, releasing Midnight from her pokeball.

“Canyon’s run off,” he informed the Houndoom. “Let’s go find her and get out of here, shall we?”

Midnight barked and ran off. Luke followed her, sighing in relief when they found the two Pokemon safely outside. Together, the trainer and his two Pokemon headed back home, unaware for the moment that the Munna had chosen to follow.
