She was back, with Hematite once more cutting her a path through the thorns. This time, she had Spessartite with her. The Torkoal’s White Smoke would help her find her next Pokemon, or so she hoped. She was capturing all these rare Pokemon much easier than she thought she might – the completion of this goal was already in her sights. She might have to start thinking about what other Pokemon types she wanted to train during her stay here.

They made it to the Citadel, and she let Andesine out so he could help search. This probably meant another battle, but she supposed that was fine. He needed to get his training in, and most Pokemon liked to battle, anyway.

That was…exactly what she didn’t want. Toni watched the Venomoth fly toward them, and for a moment she considered pulling Andesine back into his Pokeball and heading home. Unfortunately, he saw the Venomoth before she could do this, and he slammed the ground to create an Earthquake. The Venomoth Tackled him, and he let loose with another Earthquake, making the wild Pokemon faint.

Well…at least it was a quick battle. She pulled Andesine and Spessartite back into their pokeballs and had Hematute cut them a path through the thicket, heading back to the dorm for the day. They’d all worked hard, and they’d made some progress. She couldn’t be too disappointed.
