Charles had been over just about the whole island, but not once had he been near the Wave Dorm. He travels through the Garden of the Sun, but manages to avoid any Pokémon.

He knew right away when he reached the Mire. The entire environment changed to one that seemed like Mother Nature hated everything in the area. What kind of Pokémon would live in a place like this?

While Striker was flying around the area, a Tympole tried to fling some mud at him - it completely missed. It seemed like Striker was a tad upset that the little polliwog had tried to attack him. "Scy!" He glowed with a thin, blue aura. The Tympole shot a slurry of bubbles that did little to Striker. Striker crossed his arms. The blades began to glow purple. He shot an X-shaped blast of energy at the Tympole, knocking it out in one hit.
