Personality:The first thing one might notice about Christina is her serious demeanor. She often carries a frown or a neutral expression on her face. She often appears to be calm and collected at all times, maybe even cold or uncaring to some. She is sarcastic most of the time and gets bored easily. However, most of these mannerisms are just a mask to hide her insecurities and social awkwardness. She didn’t really interact with many kids her age growing up, so an academy full of them is a tad overwhelming for her.
Christina is a researcher through and through. If there is something she does not know she will pursue the topic as long as it interests her. She can be stubborn with her ideas and opinions, but if there is sufficient prove to dispute them she is willing to listen. Even though she tries to appear as calm and calculating, her face noticeably softens when dealing with her own Pokémon. It’s subtle, but definitely noticeable. Her mask is further shattered when her dad is around. The cold looks are suddenly gone replaced with a happy genuine smile, instead of a self-assured cocky grin.
She doesn’t have many friends, most people off put by her attitude, but the few she has are able to get her to act more like she does with her dad instead of how she treats everyone else.

History: Christina was born in Cerulean City to two loving Pokémon researchers. Research materials where a commonly scattered around their house and Christina often got a hold of them, fascinated by whatever her parents happened to be researching at the time. Her mom was often not home, her research causing her to have to travel to different regions, while her dad was able to stay closer to home, but pretty much just as busy. When Christina wasn’t busy peeking at research materials, she often played in the bodies of water that flowed throughout Cerulean City. It was during one of these times she managed to befriend a Poliwag. She would often meet up with it and play around with it, until one day it just followed her home.
As she got older, Christina started taking a more serious look at her parents’ work and started researching on her own time. She often knew and learned things other kids her age could care less about. Often she came across as a know-it-all and not many kids her age were willing to play with her. This caused her to retreat further into her own research and changed the way she interacted with others. It eventually got to the point where she would even go along with her dad and help him with his research topics.
However, Christina’s dad noticed her change in demeanor as she got older. Wanting her to not be so focused on research all the time, he suggested at one point for her to head to the Gray Heaven Academy. Christina was initially opposed, but her dad eventually managed to convince her of the research opportunities it could provide. As a parting gift, her dad gave her an Eevee that he had recently gotten from a friend. With both her Poliwag and Eevee at her side, she set sail for Harmonia Island.

Christina also didn’t name her and wish she was named something else, but Puma just wouldn’t respond to being called anything Christina thought up.
