After defeating a powerful Corphish and adding the aggressive Pokemon to his team, Dylan decided to stick around the beach for a few more minutes. The dark-haired trainer was more than positive that there are other worthy water Pokemon roaming around the beach in search of a good trainer. "Alright Caspian, keep your eyes open this time. We don't want any other surprised ambush attacks." He started, glancing down at the spunky little penguin Pokemon walking beside him. The Piplup nodded his head at his trainer before turning his attention back towards the ocean. "Come at us!" Dylan shouted, calling out to wild water Pokemon inhibiting the beach.

While the duo continued to travel down the sandy path, Dylan's piercing blue eyes soon capture the sight of an interesting performance. A small Squirtle appeared to have been using a piece of driftwood as a surfboard. "Well, I'll be a Mankey's uncle." Dylan chucked, shaking his head as he continued to watch the tiny turtle Pokemon performed various surfing tricks on the surface of the water and even in midair. "It's an odd sight to see, but I can't deny the fact that this little Squirtle knows what it is doing out there." He stated, truly amazing by the Wild Pokemon performances. Caspian simply nodded his head in agreement. The surfing Squirtle soon noticed that a small crowd had gathered together in order to watch his unique performance and it only encouraged him to perform even more dazzling tricks. Loud claps and screams sounded off as both humans and their Pokemon cheered on the Squirtle. The Squirtle gave his "fans" a small wink and a confident smile. 

A couple of more minutes passed, and the Squirtle had finally decided to end his performance. He hopped off the piece of driftwood and headed towards the shore. A decent sized group of students rushed towards the Squirtle, snapping quick pictures of the Pokemon. Dylan shook his head and laughed at the Wild Pokemon's fan base. "Yes. You would think that this Squirtle is some type of local celebrity or something." He chuckled, glancing down at his Piplup, who appeared to have been slightly jealous of the attention that the other Pokemon was getting from the humans. "It's a pretty cool Pokemon, though. Maybe instead of just joining its fan club, we'll ask it for a battle." He suggested as he started making his way through the crowd. "Hey! Excuse me! Coming through! Get out of the way!" He shouted, forcing his way into the crowd. "Hey Squirtle, we want to challenge you to a battle. Let's see if your battling skills are anything close to your surfing skills!" He challenged the Squirtle,  cunning smirk curving against his lips. The Squirtle glanced up at Dylan, studying the young male's demeanor as if he was debating of if the trainer was worthy of his challenge or not.  The Squirtle smirked back at the trainer and nodded his head at him before walking towards the other side of the beach to start the battle. "Awesome!" He yelled, rushing over towards the opponent side of the battle.

"Let's get this battle started!" He smiled making  fist out of his right hand . Caspian chirped before wobbling out in front of his trainer. "Eh...Sorry Caspian, but I'm going to let Murphy take care of this one little bud!" He stated glancing down at the small penguin Pokemon. Caspian lowered his head in disappoint while a sweat drop hovered over his head as he walked away from the battlefield. "Murphy, come on out!" He shouted out, tossing the Poke Ball onto the sand and releasing his Corphish from its slumber. Murphy glared at his trainer then over towards the his opponent as he sized him up a bit. Murphy's prized claws quickly started glowing a brilliant white hue before he jetted towards the Squirtle and extended his heavy claws, hitting the Squirtle twice with his Double Hit attack. "Murphy! What are you doing? I did not give you a command yet!" He shouted, face palming himself in embarrassment. Meanwhile, Caspian found himself laughing at the fact that Murphy wasn't waiting for his trainer to give him commands. Maybe Dylan would think twice about using Murphy in a battle in opposed to using him again. The Squirtle stood his ground as much as possible, dragging his feet along in the soft stand too stop himself from flipping over onto his back. The Squirtle grunted a few times before withdrawing into his shell and performing a spinning attack. The Rapid Spin made contact with Murphy's body, only inflicting a small amount of damage to his hard shell. Murphy chuckled at the Squirtle's poor attempt to deal damage to his body.

"Hey! Don't get too cocky out there!" Dylan hissed at his Pokemon. Murphy extended his right claw and waved off his trainer's words. "Hey, don't you do that to me! You know what, we're going to take care of this after the battle, try using your Razor Shell!" He commanded, hoping that Murphy would follow his command this time. Murphy extended his right claw again, this time it started glowing a deep blue hue as it started storing up power. A few seconds passed and his claw has taken the form of a blade. "Corp, phish, phish!" Murphy yelled as he rushed towards the Squirtle and attacking his forehead with his mighty blade. The Squirtle was quickly knocked back by the from the impact of the attack. The Razor Shell had managed to inflict a decent amount of damage to the opponent's health, it even caused his defense to lower. After laying on his back in the soft sand for a few seconds, the Squirtle slowly pulled himself up and fired a Water Gun at Murphy. The Corphish stood his ground and faced the weak attack without a flinch. 

"Alright. finish -." Dylan started to speak, but was soon cut off as he noticed Murphy rushing towards the Squirtle with another Double Hit. The attack caused even more damaged to the Squirtle than before due to the lowered defense. The Squirtle let out a painful cry before finally falling down in defeat. "Dude! Wait for me to finish the command the next time!" He shouted at his Pokemon before taking out an empty Poke Ball and tossing it at the Squirtle.
