Lilith's icy blue eyes stared towards the beautiful gate leading into the enchanting Garden of the Sun. The raven-haired student had recently agreed to take on a mission that required her to exterminate all of the bug and poison type Pokemon that inhibited a local gardener's garden. According to the source, the bug and poison type Pokemon had been damaging the stunning sunflowers for quite some time now and the Wild Pokemon needed to be taken care of as soon as possible. Normally, Lilith probably wouldn't have waste her time on such a task, due to the fact that she didn't like to become too aggressive and reckless. Naturally, she is considered to be a gentle soul and preferred not to become involved in unnecessary violence. However, she had promised her parents that she would try her very best to come out her comfort zone in order to become a stronger trainer and breeder. In order to become her best, she would have to face her challenges head on and do whatever is needed to be done to make herself and her Pokemon stronger and more confident. Luckily, she wouldn't have to face this mission on her own because another student had signed up to assist her. Not only would it give her a chance to train her Pokemon, but also give her an opportunity to possibly make a new friend. She could use more of those right about now.

"I must admit that I'm a little nervous about this mission Mallory. Besides the bug and poison type Pokemon I don't know who or what else is awaiting us inside. At the same time, I'm feeling a slight rush of excitement, too. No matter what obstacles we're going to have to face we won't have to do it alone. We will have each other and the help of the other student and their Pokemon, too." She smiled, glancing over at the Misdreavus floating beside her. Mallory nodded her head and flashed her trainer a bright smile. "Now, we just have to wait for that student to get here." She added with another smile as the two of them waited patiently for their teammate to arrive on the scene.

[Lithra Trease]

“We’re going to be late!” Lithra exclaimed as she gathered her items in a flurry of motion. “Bag, yes. Pokeballs, yes. Uh, keys? Yes!” The teenager paused for a moment, squinting at her shared room before looking down at the Cottonee bouncing impatiently by her feet. “And you too,” she smiled, collecting Bell and pulling him close to her chest. “But we have to hurry! I don’t want whoever it is to think we’re inconsiderate. That’d be awful.” Her Cottonee’s green ears wiggled in agreement as Lithra rushed out the room, door slamming shut.

By the time the girl ran over to the Garden of the Sun she was breathing heavily. Her pale face was flushed red, her shoulders heaved with each breath, and it took all of Lithra’s ability not to drop Bell to the floor and rest her hands on her knees. She could see the back of another student, Mana judging from the colors, and guessed that was the person she was paired with for the mission they were about to undertake.

Lithra had given a lot of thought to this mission the moment she signed up for it. Of course she didn’t like the idea of wiping out all the bug and poison pokemon in the area. It went against her nature and for the last few nights she’d felt guilty about the whole situation. Enough, even, to consider pulling out of the mission completely. However, after thinking back to all the times her parents spoke about ‘culling population’ and protecting the ecosystem through relocation or extermination (in ethical ways) for the Safari Park, Lithra realized she could do this. The garden flowers needed as much protection as other endangered pokemon.

Plus she loved flowers. She had even pinned a faded yellow blossom to her hair today to match the colors of the garden. The idea had been cute this morning.

“H-hi!” Lithra called out, holding Bell in one arm as she waved at the girl with another. Walking closer, Lithra saw just how pretty the other student was and it intimidated the Nature girl. The other girl was tall and shapely and had such beautiful shining dark hair. A pang of jealously swept through Lithra’s core as she tried to hide it behind a smile. Jealously like this made her nervous, not nasty. “Are you here for the mission?”

Bell, unaffected by the physical apperances of humans, jumped from Lithra’s arms to land beside the girls’ feet. He hopped up and down joyfully in front of the other student, bleating out ‘nee, nee, nee’ as his orange eyes blinking slowly. Lithra was close to warning Bell to calm himself when she noticed the pokemon floating by the other girl’s shoulder. She’d never seen a pokemon like that before. “That necklace is so pretty,” she whispered looking at the ghostly pokemon.

“Oh, sorry, my name is Lithra and that’s Bell…if we are your partners for this mission,” the teenager finished awkwardly, eyes looking at the strange pokemon rather than the pretty girl. What if she didn’t like Lithra? “I, ah, I have with me my Cottonee, a Fletchling, and Bulbasaur so hopefully we can help you. And, ah, I can follow if you want to lead. Only if you want though!”

As you arrive at the Garden you were sent to, you do not notice anything too out of place. Everything seems peaceful for the most part. Sure, there seems to be a few bug Pokemon here and there, but they don't seem to be harming the flowers.

You know for a fact that these are the Pokemon you are after, however. Your goal is to exterminate them, one by one. In your immediate vicinity, a few bugs happen to notice you. They are not hostile in any shape or form and seem to accept your presence.

Now then. What will you do?

A soft smile curved against LIlith's rosy-pink lips as he heard another female call out. Perhaps, this Nature Dorm student would be her teammate for the mission. Lilith giggled softly before waving back at the female. So far from what she could tell, the other student appeared to be fairly friendly and was a good thing for sure. "Why yes. I'm here for the mission. I assume that you're going to be my teammate, correct?" She spoke as a another warm and welcoming smile spread across her soft lips. She allowed her piercing azure eyes to observe the other female's physique for a few seconds. She was a bit on the cute and petite scale. However, she did seem a bit nervous at the moment. To be honest, Lilith was feeling a bit nervous, too. Hopefully, the two of them would be able overcome their nervousness and put majority of their focus on completing the mission together as a team without too many challenges.

Lilith smiled as she watched the little Grass/Fairy type Pokemon jump out of her trainer's arm and landed not too far away from her. "Well, hello there little cutie!" She giggled kneeled down just a bit to get a better view of the Cottonee. Meanwhile, Mallory smiled at Lithra as the Nature student acknowledged her pretty necklace. Mallory let out a blissful screech before floating circles around Lithra then around Lilith and Bell to show her excitement to start their mission together as a team.

Lilith soon turned her attention away from Bell and placed it on Lithra as the Nature student started to introduce herself. "Oh. It's nice to meet you Lithra. You too, Bell." She smiled at both the trainer and her Pokemon before performing a small bow out of respect. "I'm Lilith and this little lady floating beside me is Mallory. She's one of my starter Pokemon." She replied returning the friendly introduction. "It's a pleasure to meet you both and it's such an honor to be working with you all. I do hope that we will be able to complete this mission without too much difficulty. Though, I believe that we should be fine as long as we remember to work as a team." She added with another soft smile. She was bait more nervous after hearing Lithra reveal her other teammates. "Besides my Misdreavus. I also have a Vulpix and Pancham with me. And okay, let's get started on this mission." She smiled before leading the way into the gardens.

Once inside of the Garden of the Sun, Lilith did not notice anything too out of the ordinary. The garden was extremely peaceful and the lovely sunflowers appeared to be perfectly fine at the moment. However, there were a couple of bugs buzzing around them. "Everything looks okay here. There are bugs here, but they do not seem to be harming the flowers...Still, it is our job to take care of them..." Lilith sighed, she was really starting to regret taking on this mission again. She was at least hoping that the Bug-types would have been a bit aggressive, because it was give them a better reason for attacking them. Unfortunately, the bugs were at peace with the flowers. "Well, we should probably go ahead and this over with, huh?" She questioned, glancing over at her teammate. "Mallory, use Power Gem on that Combee!" Mallory's beautiful necklace quickly started glowing and within seconds it attacked with a stunning ray of light that sparkled like gemstones. The innocent Combee was quickly over powered by the Super-effective attack and and she soon found herself shortly after receiving the massive amount of damage dealt to her fragile body.

“That’s great!" Lithra smiled, nervousness replaced with earnest enthusiasm. Passion ruled the girl’s very being and she couldn’t help but feel the budding blossom of excitement growing her chest. Even though Lilith’s beauty still intimated Lithra, the other girl seemed to be a kind person. Pretty and kind was better than pretty and cruel. And the attention that Lilith gave to Bell warmed Lithra’s heart. Many overlooked him just as they overlooked Lithra herself, so to have someone appreciate the Cottonee’s personality made Lithra smile. She liked to think that, between her and Bell, they were a good judge of character. And if Bell liked Lilith and so too could the Nature student.

As Lilith kneeled down to say her hellos, Bell bleated back, his voice happy and carefree as he wiggled around on the ground. Thankfully he didn’t jump up to ‘boop’ Lilith on the nose as he often did when he was excited. Lithra would’ve been pretty mortified as some would see that behavior and take it as a sign of an undisciplined pokemon. For now he was behaving himself. “Hello to you too Mallory,” Lithra giggled, watching as the pokemon floated around them. “I think it’s safe to say everyone is excited about our first mission.”

“Your starter pokemon,” Lithra nodded, repeating the words back as she listened to Lilith. That was really neat, the Nature student thought to herself. She loved seeing the first partners of people. It was like reflection of themselves—not that Lithra would tell anyone her belief. It was a bit childish and she didn’t want anyone to make fun of her. But Mallory appeared just elegant and mysterious as her Mana trainer. "Bell is mine too. And I agree, teamwork has to be the point of these missions.”

Lithra recognized the last two pokemon that made up Lilith’s team and she was happy to hear another fire pokemon was on their side. As for Bell, well, the young girl was quite aware of his weakness against Poison type, but she couldn’t leave him behind. That meant the student was banking on Mira and Chip’s ability to handle their foes so Bell could act as a last resort.

As the girls walked through the garden, Lithra was positively beaming at the sight around her. She was a Nature student through and through. “Oh, I wish sunflowers were a little smaller. They would be a perfect accessory,” she thought aloud, absentmindedly touching the flower currently braided into her hair. It took her a few seconds longer than Lilith to realize that the gardens didn’t look as damaged as the mission made it out to be. “Yeah…” Lithra trailed behind her, standing next to the other student. “They actually look happy here.”

The guilt she had felt earlier about harming pokemon returned as she took in the serene picture before them. Lithra looked between Lilith and the Bug pokemon flying around. They were still going to attack then? The Nature student’s face fell. That felt wrong…but it would be wrong to not follow the instructions of an assignment. They would get in trouble if they didn’t do this. Plus, it was to help the ecosystem, right? Right?

Lithra stared in awe as Lilith and Mallory took down the Combee in one hit. “Oh,” she squeaked. Beautiful and talented? Lithra’s palms grew sweaty as she realized Lilith would see the smaller girl’s lack of battling ability now. “O-okay, I’ll take on the Ledyba then. Uh, c’mon out Chip.” Releasing Chip from his pokeball, Lithra summoned out her Fletchling. “Use Peck on that Ledyba!”

Blinking up at her, Chip twittered out a little melody, pecked at the ground a few times, and then, and only then, ran over to the wild pokemon. Jumping up, Chip slammed his beak into the bug pokemon. The move worked well, Lithra realized. It didn’t finish the Ledyba off in one hit like Mallory had done, but after avoiding the wild pokemon’s next attack, Lithra ordered Chip to finish it off with another Peck.

That seemed to do that trick as Chip attacked the wild bug off and hopped back over to them.

“Good boy!” Lithra rewarded, avoiding looking at the bodies of the two wild pokemon. She glanced over at Lilith, subconsciously making the other girl the leader out of them. “Should we continue? What do you think?”

As you finished off the innocent Pokemon, you turned away; trying not to think about what you had done and move on as if nothing had happened. How convenient. Forgetting them won't make them disappear as if you never hurt them. You chose this mission.

As you move away from the Pokemon you ended, you find a few more who witnessed your slaughter. They are cowering and don't actually seem all that willing to fight. However, a few brave, but still weak Pokemon step forward to defend their brethren. What will you do?

After the introductions were complete and over with the two female students and their partners started exploring the enchanting garden. A soft smile curved against Lilith's soft lips as she nodded her head in agreement towards Lithra's comment about the sunflowers. "Sunflowers would make great accessories. They're so bright and beautiful just like the shining sun." She replied, allowing the small smile that touched her lips spread out a little more. "They're a little too peaceful." She stated as she continued to stare towards the Wild Pokemon.

She had managed to defeat her opponent with ease and she soon turned her attention towards Lithra and her Pokemon. It took Lithra and her Pokemon just a little bit longer to defeat their opponent, but the duo completed the task without too much of a challenge. "Nice work Lithra. You and your Pokemon were looking pretty good out there." She stated, giving her teammate a kind compliment. She definitely felt a little more confident about working with Lithra after watching a gleam of her battling style. 

"Yes, we should continue moving forth. The sooner we can get this mission over with the better." She stated with a soft smile. "And to be honest, I'm hoping that the next set of Pokemon will appear to be more threatening. It was a bit difficult attacking couple of Pokemon who seem to be rather innocent." She added before letting out a deep sigh. She was wondering to wander of the secret gardener had managed to make a mistake or something about the Wild Pokemon inhibiting inside of the garden. 

She turned her back away from the fainted Pokemon and focused her attention on leading Lithra and herself deeper into the garden. Unfortunately, no matter how hard she attempted to not think about their previous battle with the innocent Pokemon Lilith couldn't help, but to replay the image in her head a couple of times. A couple of more minutes passed and the group soon found themselves encountering another set of Pokemon. This time, some of the Pokemon presented quite fearful of them and it kind of made Lilith's heart a little heavy. "W-we have to complete this mission Lithra. No matter what, right?" She questioned Lithra softly, yet loud enough for Lithra to hear her. "Please forgive us, but we have to do complete this task." She spoke towards the Wild Pokemon, giving them a small bow before withdrawing two Poke Balls from her bag and tossing them gracefully into the air. Within the blink of an eye a Pancham and a Shiny Vulpix appeared in front of the raven-haired female. The two Pokemon quickly went into their battle stances as the two o them awaited their trainer's command.

"Brinley, use your Extrasensory on that Nidoran. Donovan, use your Fire Punch on that Weedle!" She commanded before closing her eyes to prevent herself from staring directly at the battle scene. The Shiny Vulpix build up a powerful amount of psychic energy from within her body and she soon molded that energy into an odd and bewitching wave of pure power. The super-effective attack quickly made contact with the Nidoran's body, causing the Pokemon to let out a loud and painful roar before fainting there on the spot. Now it was Donovan's turn. The Pancham leaped into the air with his right fist coated in crimson flames as he extended his mighty fist towards the Weedle. The flaming fist swiftly made contact with the Weedle's body and with the combination of the super effective attack and Donovan's unique ability, the Fire Punch was more than enough to Finnish out of the Weedle. Brinley and Donovan sounded off in a victory cheer before rushing over towards their trainer. Lilith finally opened her eyes and flashed her Pokemon a half smile before returning them back into their Poke Balls. She felt absolutely terrible for attacking even more innocent Pokemon. Now, she had to watch Lithra and her Pokemon push through and defeat their opponents.

“Oh! You really think so?” Lithra beamed under the other girl’s compliment, her confidence rising. “It’s all on them, really, they do the heavy lifting.” A giggle accompanied the blushing Nature student as Bell cooed happily in her arms and Chip ran in circles around them, energized by the fight. It was a momentary distraction from the battle they had just fought. “You’re super good at this too, Lilith! The way you and your pokemon battle, it’s, it’s….” Lithra glanced down at her feet, abashed. “beautiful.”

Lithra didn’t know what Lilith’s specialty was at the Academy, but the Mana student seemed skilled in battling. She at least knew how to use pokemon types to her advantage which meant she knew how to identify pokemon. Lithra could learn a thing or two from Lilith…if the other girl was willing. One step at a time, Lith. Finish the mission first then see if Lilith wants to start being friends or acquaintances or something, Lithra thought to herself.

Following Lilith, the Nature student nodded in agreement. “Yeah, I don’t think a mission like this should’ve been approved by the Academy if the pokemon aren’t aggressive or harming the plants.” Lithra looked around the garden, noticing the untouched flowers and peaceful inhabitants. “Why would the Academy let an unsound mission be checked off on? It doesn’t seem right…”

And neither did killing harmless pokemon, Lithra thought bitterly as she pulled Bell closer to her chest. What if this mission had targeted only Grass or Fairy pokemon? Would Lithra still have taken it had the requirements been that? It’s not like Chip or Bell seemed fussed with what they were doing. Battling and surviving was part of a pokemon’s innate nature. Lithra’s green eyes fell down to look at the top of her Cottonee’s head as she wondered if he would judge her actions if he knew what was going on.

When the girl finally pulled her gaze away from Bell and towards what Lilith was looking at, Lithra’s face paled. “They’re…they’re scared of us,” she said, Bell dropping from her hands. “Wait, Lilith, this, this doesn’t seem right. They’re not attacking, they’re defending because we attacked them,” the girl trailed, her eyes blinking back embarrassing tears she didn’t want to shed in front of Lilith.

This was so wrong.

Dumbfounded, Lithra watched as Lilith’s team took out two of the four pokemon that approached them. Their super effective moves made the battle swift and stole away the lives of the wild pokemon quicker than dragging out the pain. That was a small mercy. But then it was Lithra’s turn. “I-“ she turned to look at Lilith, wanting to protest more. Lilith, though, had judged the mission as ethical enough so Lithra had to too. Little Lithra Trease was ever the follower.

“Oh, okay then…” Lithra fumbled with the last pokeball she brought with her, releasing her Bulbasaur as the Grass/Poison pokemon and Chip stood side-by-side. Bell stood behind Lithra’s legs, fearful of the wild Poison pokemon in front of him. Only Chip would be able to knock out one of the pokemon with one hit. Whoever Mira went against would be in for a longer battle and, deciding the Spinarak seemed the older of the two wild pokemon, that would be her opponent.

“Chip, Flame Wheel the Venonat and try to get it in one hit, okay? Like how Lilith’s pokemon did!” Lithra commanded as she turned to Mira. “Mira I want you to use Sleep Powder on the Spinarak. Let’s put it to sleep first and then take it out. More mercy.”

There was only a second delay between Lithra’s orders and her pokemon enacting them. Chip’s body burst into flames as he ran towards the Venonat, igniting them both in a burst of fire similar to the Pancham’s attack. Meanwhile, Mira had lulled her opponent to sleep and was waiting for Lithra to tell her what to do next. “Sludge Bomb, okay? And if that doesn’t finish the Spinarak then Chip use Peck.”

Between those attack the sleeping Spinarak never woke up.

Her team retreated back to her, Mira actively ignoring Lilith’s pokemon while Chip bounced around the Pancham’s body, trying to get the other pokemon to go on fire again. Chip seemed to like the trick. Dolefully, Lithra looked over at Lilith. “The Academy is wrong,” she said weakly.

Without an ounce of hesitation, you slaughter the Pokemon in the name of your mission. Any Pokemon you didn't already take care of seemed to run off. That is, except for a select few who simply couldn't and the few Pokemon that stayed behind to protect them. It seems that this will be their last stand against their attackers.

Two larger Pokemon guard a group of small baby Pokemon with a fierce look. They're ready to fight until the last breath. Behind them are looks of pure terror, backed up into a corner from which they may never leave.

"Yes, I really do think so. You and your Pokemon work well as a team." She assured Lithra with another warm smile. "It's true that our Pokemon do tend to do the heavy lifting, but at the end we all have come together as a team." She added, her warm smile still attached to her soft lips. "Oh, thank you!" She replied, blushing a bit after hearing Lithra's sweet compliment. "My mother owns a Kimono Girl Dance Threatre back in our home region. I used to spend a lot of my time there as a little girl. The Kimono Girls were both great dancers and battlers. The girls' battling skills were graceful and beautiful. So, I guess my battling skills is a small reflection of their skills since that those ladies taught me almost everything about battling." She explained to Lithra. 

Lilith nodded her head at Lithra's words as the two of them continued to explore the vast garden. "I fully agree with you. It's hard to believe that the Academy would allow such a mission to go on like this one. I pictured the mission to be a lot easier than this one. I never imagined that I would have to hurt innocent Pokemon. I feel so bad." She spoke in a softer tone. "It doesn't seem right at all. Unless this entire mission is huge hoax and someone tricked us into doing their dirty work for them. I really hope that's not the case." She sighed, shaking her head at the taught of being tricked into doing the dirty work for an evil organization. 

The two female students soon encountered their second round of Pokemon. Unfortunately before Lithra could tell Lilith not to attack, the raven-haired beauty had already given her Pokemon orders and her Pokemon quickly took out their enemies. She felt her heart sinking again as she watched the Pokemon fall down in defeat. "I know, but we have to complete this mission." She spoke softly to Lithra, not even making complete eye contact with the other human. Instead, she watched Lithra's Pokemon take out their set out enemies. 

Donovan laughed as he felt Chirp bouncing up and down on his body. He figured that the Fletchling enjoyed his little fiery-trick. Of course the attention only made the Pancham's ego inflate even more. "Yes, it is. We will have to deal with them later. Now, we have to complete this mission. The sooner the better, because I do not know how much more of this I can take." She stated with regretful sigh. 

Lilith's azure eyes soon locked onto the two larger Pokemon that were apparently guarding the younger Pokemon. She could feel her heart being played with again as she fault back tears. "Please forgive us for our actions, but we are only doing what we were told to do." She spoke in a low tone. Lilith glanced over at her Shiny Vulpix, nodding her at the fire fox as she watched Brinley prance over in front of her. She knew that if she wanted to one-shot the Ivysaur, then it would take some boosted fire power. Once Brinley took her place in front of her trainer, the sunshine started to grow even more intense. Brinley's golden coat shimmering like gold dust as the rays touched her body. "Flamethrower!" Lilith commanded, closing her eyes. The Vulpix opened her mouth and released powerful blast of fire from her mouth. The Ivysaur let out a painful cry before falling down in defeat. After things had calmed down a bit more, Lilith opened her eyes and tossed a Poke Ball at the Ivysaur.

At least Chip was having fun, Lithra thought, half bitter, half relieved that her Fletchling was preoccupied with Donovan rather than the previous battle. Lithra took a moment to watch them instead of talking to Lilith about what they were doing and how wrong doing this was. Chip twittered happily as Donovan paid him attention, flapping his wings despite the crippled injury he had on one. The wild pokemon could have had personalities like their pokemon. Unique and lovable traits, endearing and wonderful, and they cut it short because of this…this mission.

All of a sudden Lithra didn’t feel too much like smiling anymore. She just wanted to finish this mission and go home and shower, burn away the guilt inside of her. “We picked this,” she muttered, voicing the one thing that bothered Lithra the most. They picked this and it was their fault. “We’re…” Lithra trailed off. She couldn’t finish it, but the unspoken word lingered heady in the air. Killers.

The Nature student nodded sullenly at Lilith’s comments. Lithra didn’t feel like talking anymore. It was as if her body was shutting down, numbing itself from the cruel reality that they had made. Hopefully there wouldn’t be any more pokemon to clear out because, as Lilith said, Lithra too couldn’t take much more of this mission.  Deflated, Lithra watched as they stumbled on the next two pokemon standing against them, young pokemon cowering not far behind.

Doing only as they were told. Yes, that was the truth. They could question the ethics of this mission all they want, but Lithra and Lilith were still following it through when they had a choice not to. What did that say of them? Dutiful students or blind robots? Swallowing back bitter guilt, Lithra watched as Lilith defeated and captured the Ivysaur. Lithra cast a quick look at Mira, watching as the Bulbasaur saw one of its own kin defeated so.

“Flame Wheel,” Lithra told Chip as he finally stop hopping around Donovan to watch his opponent. Giving an almost sing-songy reply, the bird pokemon’s feathers grew hot as he charged at the Roselia, taking it out the same way he had defeated the other pokemon weak to Fire types. The Roselia managed to attack Chip with Leech Seed, but between his next attack and already suffering from the first injuries, their opponent didn't last long.

Lithra didn’t feel like capturing it and having a daily reminder of this mission. “Come here, Chip, I’ll get those off you,” she told him, bending down as she tugged off the vines wrapped around him from Leech Seed. “I hope this is it, Lilith, I’d like to go home.” Even though they had won the battles, it really didn’t feel that way.

As you finish the final touches to your mission, everything around you seems to blur. The Pokemon you defeated, the surrounding areas and whatnot, almost everything except you and your Pokemon remain still. And then, as if in a dream, the Pokemon you defeated all the way here disappeared. That is, except for that Roselia. Ivysaur also seemed to be real since it was caught. Though confusing, the two of you return to the mission center to collect your reward. From there, you are given a summary of what happened.

The mission you took was actually a social experiment to see if a student who is taught to fight alongside Pokemon would go through with a mission that involved harming or killing them. Though disgust and sadness were major emotions displayed you still went through with it. The scientists who conducted the experiment were satisfied with the results as well.

As for the illusions? Well, a large amount of strong psychic Pokemon can create such a strong mental illusion for a couple students and their Pokemon. There were only two real Pokemon, being the Ivysaur and Roselia. Why those two? Because the scientists knew they would be the prime picks for capture. And if they weren't captured? No big deal. But as for the results, it says plenty about the mental processes of a human and their will.

You receive your reward, regardless of circumstances. (No Pokemon were seriously harmed in the creation of this mission.)

It was over. The mission was finally over. Lilith's eyes watched as she watched the dead Pokemon disappear around them as if everything was some sort of illusion. A deep sigh of relief escaped from LIlith's mouth as she glanced over at her teammate. "Uh, I dont really now what just happened, but I assumed that it was just some sort of illusion or something. I feel a little bit better now after knowing that those Pokemon weren't real." She stated with a soft smile. "Still, I am a little disappointed that I allow myself go through this mission. I stepped outside of my character. I'm never this aggressive towards Pokemon, especially innocent Pokemon." She added, biting down on her bottom lip for a few seconds. "I"m going to have to be more careful whenever it comes down to accepting another mission." She added as she walked over to pick up the Poke Ball that held her newly captured Ivysaur. 

After she picked up the Poke Ball, the dark-haired student made her way back over towards Lithra. "I guess this the part where we say goodbye and go on our separate ways, huh?" She spoke, a half smile spreading across her lips. "Although I don't fully agree with the ethics of this entire mission I'm glad that we were able to meet each other and work together." She smiled a bit more before leaning in to give the other female student a friendly hug. Usually, she wouldn't be so forth with showing affection towards other people, but the two of them had been through so much together during the mission that Lilith couldn't help, but to show her gratitude towards Lithra. "Just because this mission is now over doesn't mean that we can't be friends or hang out anymore." She stated with another warm smile. "I'm member of the Mana Dorm, so if you would ever like to hang out together then you'll know where to find me." She spoke before turning away from Lithra. Meanwhile, her Pokemon said their goodbyes to Lithra's Pokemon. "Until next time, friend."  She started to walk away unties he remembered that the two of them had to return back to the Mission Center to obtain their reward. "Oh yeah! We still leave to go pick up our rewards. Maybe, we can find some real answers about what really happened here. Let's go." She spoke before leading the way.
