"Oh, look at this one!" Lithra called to her Cottonee as she peered down at a batch of wildflowers. "These are just lovely. And wouldn't you think this one here would look perfect with that red dress?" The girl giggled, plucking the white flower as she held it next to her hair. "Do you think we should look for this kind of plant next, Bell? I think these would be gorgeous to grow if we could. Maybe I could give some to Lilith as a gift or..." she trailed off thinking of one new Bolt student in particular. The girl laughed nervously at her own fantasies. "That'll be our secret, Bell, don't tell anyone."

Her partner pokemon shook his head (and therefore his whole body) bleating out noises that sounded a lot like no. Lithra smiled at her friend. "I know you won't, thank you." Returning to the wild flowers, Lithra started to dig around them, humming as she went. She knew the disrubtion could prove too much for the plants and they would die, but with Koko and her other grass pokemon's help there could be a possibility to transplant the flowers back at the Nature Dorms.

So busy was she that Lithra didn't even notice the approaching pokemon...

Bell, however, had noticed the approaching pokemon and it was he who jumped in front of Lithra. With her back turned she was oblivious to the whole thing. She continued to ramble on about where she wanted the flowers, what they could do with them, and only stopped mid-sentence when she heard Bell cry out in pain. Whipping around, Lithra was startled when she saw Bell resting on the ground, pins sticking out of his body and around the floor. The only place they didn't hit was Lithra and that was because of her Cotttonee.

Jolting up, Lithra clutched at her bag, staring at the wild pokemon in front of her. It took a few moments for her PokeDex to explain it was a Chespin and show what it was weak against. Glancing at Bell, the girl could tell he had suffered from that one move. He hadn't been expecting it and only Arceus knew what kind of organs the needles were hitting. Knowing she had no time to waste, Lithra sent out Vigil. "Please, Vigil, I need your help. Use Silver Wind on that Chespin! We've got to get Bell to the Infirmary!"

Vigil, ever the silent defender, executed his move without so much as a nod. Being super effective against the Chespin and given Vigil's speed, the wild pokemon barely stood a chance against him. Throwing a pokeball at the Chespin, Lithra gently picked up Bell, more concerned with him than having just acquired a new pokemon. Desperately she looked at Vigil, begging him to race ahead and warn someone. "I'll be right behind you," Lithra promised, running after the Ninjask, leaving the flowers forgotten on the dirt.
