He does try to take some care into making himself look good, but is normally very lenient on himself - if it seems good and feels fine, then it's alright. His build is a bit on the muscular side, allowing him to do physical activities with relative ease. He depends on his glasses greatly, for his vision will become very fuzzy without them (he's probably nearsighted).

Being the eldest out of two siblings, Daiki has learned to take responsibility at a young age, and so finds comfort in being depended on by others. While not one for a leader role, it's very easy to see him as an older brother or even a father-like figure, especially to any student that wishes to seek his help. In default, he is a friendly and kind individual, and if asked a favor he will do his best to fulfill it. His family raised him well enough to be respectful and polite, though he sometimes has trouble talking to people of his own age. He ends up being a lot more quiet if that's the case, but to people he's familiar with he can be talkative. He's really more of a listener though, and is a dependable person if one needs a shoulder to lean on.
Despite this, he's actually quick to judge others, but knows well enough not to voice this aloud. Still, he adjusts himself accordingly, which is mostly just becoming even quieter than usual or something if the situation doesn't sit well with him. He has a hard time speaking up against opinions, and will readily change his own opinion if someone disagrees with him (unless it really goes against his morals or something). Perhaps his confidence will improve in time as he takes the Warden role here. By the way, he mumbles often, and one may often ask for him to repeat what he says just to know what he's trying to say.

History:
Daiki grew up in a family of four and countless more Pokemon since his father owned a ranch nearby Floccesy Town. As a child he would play with the Pokemon there along with his brother, and so never really made other friends. Nevertheless, those were happy memories, and it had allowed him to be more knowledgeable than others when he reach the coming of age to be a trainer. With his partner, Lily (a Snivy), he traveled around Unova and earned many gym badges, but didn't manage to beat the Elite Four. When he got home about a year later, his parents had decided to send him to Gray Haven Academy after saving enough money from their ranch. They thought that it was a great opportunity and had always wanted to send a child of theirs to school, so while his brother prepared to leave for his own journey, Daiki was preparing to go to Harmonia Island.
Thanks to his past experiences as a trainer, Daiki found his classes to be easy, and soon graduated with high marks on most of his classes (as for which ones, he'd laugh it off, and say that it didn't matter all that much). He went back to Floccesy Town for a while after that, spending some time with his family and the ranch. He also explored his home region once more, but midway through got a call that the Nature Dorm Warden wanted to leave, and needed a replacement. Unsure but willing, Daiki told his parents of the offer, and encouraged him to take it. The ranch had many more different kinds of Pokemon that fit the requirements, so it took some time for him to pick the twelve Pokemon that would come with him to Harmonia Island. Yet even after all those other times he had prepared to leave home, it still wasn't easy to say goodbye.
It didn't take long for him to return to the academy that had become a second home to him, but as soon as he arrived at the dorm he was stopped by the previous warden. There were no greetings, just a sudden favor to take care of two Dragon Type Pokemon. He couldn't place them back into a Warden team because of the change of rules, and honestly looked desperate to pass them on as soon as possible. Flustered, Daiki accepted, and without an explanation as to why he couldn't keep them, the person had left. Well, he wasn't aware that he could've brought an extra two Pokemon with him, so it was rather convenient. It was there that Daiki took his first step into being a Warden.
