Chespin braced for the attack and she squealed as the icy fangs bit down on her and the cold chilled her body but she was tough too, if Swamp could take Crunch attacks like a boss, she could take an ice fang like a boss too. She growled as she focused her strength then unleashed another barrage of Pin missiles at point blank range.

It seemed that the Ice Fang had pushed his opponent to the extreme as the following Pin Missle hit for its maximum count, assaulting Wedelia with super effective hits. The previous Ice Punch had did too much damage for him to withstand it, and so he was knocked out of the match. Poppy had let out a worried cry as Daiki brought the Zweilous to their side, giving him another one of the Sitrus berries he had in his bag. Now he was down to his last Pokemon, but considering how much Ice Fang should've done to the Chespin, he figured that Arkose should be able to handle it.

With a small nod to himself, he let out his last Pokemon, "Alright, let's finish this, Arkose!" a Nosepass appeared, letting out a low cry, prepared to attack, "Use Stone Edge!" pieces of rock then floated in the air, surrounded by a glow before being launched at his opponent.

Akiko was glad that her pin missile attack had nailed the big bad dragon but the ice fang had taken it's toll and she was wide open for a counter attack in the form of a Stone Edge. The Attack hit powerfully and she tried to maintain her will to fight to prove her strength but it was not meant to be. Akiko fainted

Santos went over to her "you did good Akiko, you did good." He recalled her then looked at Daiki. "It seems I still have a ways to go before my team and I are ready for what I have planned. Thank you for agreeing to this fight Mr. Daiki. It has been a good meter to see what I need to work on. I'll use the knowledge I've gained and move on from there."

When Stone Edge managed to hit its mark and the Chespin had gone down, Daiki couldn't help but feel rather elated - yes, he managed to win his first battle as a Warden, and so his pride had remained unscathed. He had to admit that he was scared for a while considering that close call with the Marshtomp, "I hope your Pokemon aren't hurt too badly, Mr. Santos, but I thank you as well for agreeing to battle with me. It was good training for them as well, and may we cross paths again in the future."

It didn't take long for them to go their separate ways, with Daiki wondering if they were going to battle again any time soon, or if this was the last time he was going to talk to the mysterious man.
