Personality: Maximillian is a very snooty and uptight person. He is very entitled and spoilt also. He isn’t these things on purpose and tries not to be but somewhere in his mind he looks down on people. He does enjoy helping people when he feels like it which is more often than he’d like to admit. Those he considers friends he looks out for with a sense of urgency. Taking that in mind he does not handle betrayal well and often overreacts to things. Maximillian is a very dramatic person in that regard. Maximillian is also a very flirtatious man, as he enjoys flirting with almost every female he sees. He can also be very charming when he really tries.
Maximillian knows he can be a bit irritating at times and will apologize if he feels he has crossed a line. He is very caring at times and doesn’t notice. History: Maximillian was the first child out of three boys and one girl to very wealthy people. Maximillian was surrounded by servants for his entire life, being waited on hand and foot. He became spoilt because of this, which would stay with him for his entire life. His mother disliked this and would often try to teach him humility. This didn’t work as well as she had hoped. Maximillian would be more humbled but would still expect all things to be placed before him.
Maximillian became accustomed to having several Gothitelle, all owned by his mother, to help him about. At this point, Maximillian had not really seen pokemon as actual individuals but as servants. At his tenth birthday however that would change. Maximillian’s parents threw him an extravagant party at which they didn’t show up. He was glad for all of his friend’s that did show up but he was disappointed his parent’s had missed it. After the party he snuck away to be by himself to wallow in his grief. While he was wandering through the garden he tripped and his glasses fell off. While aimlessly feeling around the ground for the glasses, his hand fell upon a wild Ralts who had just been standing nearby. His eyesight being as bad as it was, Maximillian believed it to be one of the pokemon who helped tend the garden and asked it to help him find his glasses. The Ralts found the glasses and returned them to their rightful owner, who then realized he had been helped by a wild pokemon. He was surprised at first and decided to keep the shiny pokemon.
As he grew up with the Ralts, which he named Hope, he began to become more interested in pokemon and even began befriending the several Gothitelle, Gothorita, and one specific Gothita. This Gothita also enjoyed spending time with him. He asked his mother if he could keep her and named her Isabelle but called her Belle for short. Belle and Hope became good friends as Belle would often act like a princess and Hope would be her knight.
Being the “rich pretty” boy, Maximillian would often be the center attention from the females around his age. At first, during his early teens, he would usually just ignore it but as he grew older he grew to like it and would often flirt when he had the chance. While he did this because he genuinely believed them to be beautiful, he also did it because it was fun and in that town it was the only thing to do.
By his fifteenth birthday Maximillian became interested in watching pokemon contests. He became fascinated with the elegance of it and wanted to join. He also became interested in pokemon training and wanted to catch pokemon of his own. His parents acknowledged this and signed him up to enter Gray Haven Academy. After one large farewell party, Maximillian knew he would be brought into a new environment with new people and new experiences.
