Personality: 
Confidence is an understatement for Monkulus, "prideful and arrogant" seem more fitting, she is very much full of herself and often focused on victory and being overall the best, doesn't mean she makes half-assed attempts at reaching these goals if she sets her eyes on a goal then she's determined to reach it, unless it becomes too tedious than she had anticipated or just can't reach it at all then she gives up it but winning competitions? Mix that with her competitive nature then you have yourself a good (Or bad) combination.

She is also abrasive, sarcastic, and sassy and with this and the fact she isn't afraid to speak out her opinion or truth on someone regardless if they asked for it or not makes her seem like a very big bully and a unpleasant person to be around but truth be told she tries to keep to herself most the time and tries to make her words less hurtful, such as if you're weird, she calls you weird but also says you're pretty cool, not everyone likes this very much however nor would she often make her words less hurtful, most of the time she just says something and then not care if she hurt your feelings at all considering the fact she's fairly self centered and loves attention but if you get on her good side you can guarantee she'd be a good friend.

History: 
Monkulus was born and raised within a fairly well off family that owns a restaurant business within Iciruss City. Monkulus was the only child in the household and was pretty much spoiled by her parents, getting almost anything she wants and getting into trouble with her self centered attitude at the time. At the age of 6 she finally has a younger sibling or siblings for that matter, a younger twin brother and sister.

And suddenly she wasn't the center of attention anymore her parents became constantly busy and did not have time to spend time with Monkulus, and to make up for this they got her a growlithe whom they eventually named Kasai so someone could keep Monkulus company and protect her and keep her out of trouble. At first she pretty much hated the thing, at the time she had little knowledge about pokemon as her parents kept her away from them and kept her from watching pokemon battles on television mainly due to the fact that they didn't want her to go on a journey when she grows up though after the twins were born they changed their mind pretty quickly on the matter.

Time went on, Kasai and Monkulus began to really grow on each other, Kasai mirrored most of Monkulus's personality, spoiled, arrogant, and competitive. Monkulus slowly became a more tolerable and friendly person and certainly became a lot less self centered but still remained arrogant and prideful, she learned more about pokemon and became much more interested in them.

Despite being told not to, many times has she wandered into the wilderness only armed with herself and Kasai but luckily she did stray too far but it still proved dangerous too as she did have much knowledge about pokemon still, only basic knowledge.

One day she had wandered deep into the nearby forest and gotten herself lost but still continued to explore, until they were attacked by a druddigon, at first she was sure that Kasai could easily beat it but she proven terribly wrong when the wild pokemon knocked Kasai out with a single dragon claw and teared off part of Kasai's left ear in the process, and Monkulus was left to fend for herself, it seemed like it was all over until Kasai, with the determination to protect her master stood up and fought head on with the druddigon again.

Kasai ran around as fast as her little legs could carry her to dodge the druddigon's attacks and repeatedly threw embers at it to weaken and burn it but Kasai tired and weakened along with it too. What next will be something that Monkulus would remember for as long as she lives, Kasai's body was surrounded by red and orange flames and slams into the druddigon with a great amount of force, when the attack was over the fire around Kasai briefly turned light blue and red sparks flew around her body when the flames finally dissipated, after that the growlithe finally fainted.

Monkulus has no idea what just happened or what move did her growlithe used but she knew that she had new found love and respect for the pokemon that she one thought of as a glorified pet. The commotion had attracted a pair of hikers who brought the injured pair back to Iciruss City before the druddigon could come and enact revenge on them.

There were lots of shouting involved with her parents, but one thing for sure is that she wanted to be trainer, and Kasai was very much strong enough to come on a journey with her and of course her parents denied her at first but eventually made up their minds that she can go on a journey only if she take the time to learn more about pokemon so she would be better prepared for her eventual journey ahead (Though this was a mostly coverup reason to keep her around a tad longer because they knew they really can't keep her home forever).

And of course she did what they asked her to do, she studied and trained and was about just ready to finally ask her parents to once again let her on a pokemon journey which was they finally broke the news of her being signed up for Gray Haven Academy, at first she was very much mad at this as she wanted to go on a journey to collect badges and go to the pokemon league but was assured that she will be able to collect badges and battle other trainers at Gray Haven Academy, and so she packed her belongings and went to the Academy with her ever faithful growlithe

Kasai is very close and very protective of Monkulus and quick to respond to the smallest signs of trouble which often leads to false alarms more often than not, though like Monkulus, she's arrogant, prideful, and very much competitive. Her left ear is torn up but stills hears out of it normally

Flower is very much different than Kasai and Monkulus, not arrogant or proud, nor that competitive but she is very stubborn but doesn't take losing a battle that well. Also tries to keep Kasai (And sometimes Monkulus) from trouble
