Distinguishing Features: Ozmin is a tall man standing at 6'1”, he stands with great posture and always composes himself to be calm and collected. Standing tall he always walks with his hands behind his back and with a slight scowl on his face at all times. He isn't often seen smiling and has a scare just under his left eye, his left ear is also pierced in which he wears a small silver ear ring.

Personality: Ozmin is a very serious man, he takes everything as serious as his cooking and doesn't stand for any messups, if something is doesn't right let it be in the kitchen or in every day life he will immediately dispose of the failed product and start again. Ozmin will never serve something that he wouldn't eat with 100% perfection, a long with the taste he takes completely care of his presentation as well.
Ozmin is a harsh head chef and believes that those who cook with him should be as good as him, he will not accept failure from another other chef just like he wouldn't accept failure from himself. He is too the point and if he doesn't like something he will outright say it, he doesn't care for peoples feelings and believes that the world is a harsh place and everyone should just deal with it.
When it comes to Pokemon Battles he is incredibly heated, but also fights like he cooks with precision and perfection. Ozmin is not one to jump head first into an unknown situation and will always do his research before fighting someone. Even though he spends his time in the kitchen he doesn't neglect his Pokemon. Each Pokemon on his team has a distinct role in the kitchen that Ozmin uses when he battles. His battle style is the way of the chef, something he has developed over his many years of being a Battle Chef.

History: Ozmin grew up in Lumiose City in the Unova region, his family owned a 5 star restaurant and the most popular restaurant in all of the Unova region. Growing up he basically lived in the restaurant and as the son of the owners and head chefs he was surrounded by food his whole life. His family worked with and cared for the Pokemon that helped them in the kitchen, his father believing that Pokemon were as good and maybe even better than Humans when it came to cooking. Not only was the restaurant a place to eat and relax it was also known as a Battle Restaurant, where the Pokemon that helped cooked the meals also battled against the customers Pokemon for competitions. If the customer could defeat the Chef's Pokemon in a one on One battle the meal for the night was free. Watching this over and over for many years only fed Ozmin's dreams more and more, as he grew older Ozmin started helping out more and more from doing the dishes to cleaning tables he did what ever he could to watch not just the battles but to get into the kitchen. He studied more on how to cook then he did at school and by the time he was 12 years old, the small red haired boy had seen every single cooking method the restaurant used. Not without a few little bumps along the way, as he was watching the chefs and Pokemon cook at one point he had gotten too close and in the way just as a boiling pot of soup was being moved. Next thing he knew he was in bed with a bandage over the left side of his face, once it was removed he found out he had been given a nasty burn that has scarred his left cheek.
As an attempt to get their son to not focus just on the aspect of cooking but taking care of and working with Pokemon, on his 13th birthday his father gave him a Pokeball. Inside was a young Scyther, the Pokemon immediately had a liking for the boy and the two soon became partners. Ozmin's father then took his son and the Scyther under his wing and taught them both how to help in the Kitchen, the Scyther learning how to efficiently and perfectly cut the vegetables and meats depending on the dish and Ozmin learning the many cooking methods he had watched for years. The training continued and soon Ozmin and his Scyther were participating in the Restaurant battles, the team using what they learned in the kitchen to fight and win.
Growing older and reaching his later teens Ozmin learned that it wasn't just cooking his was passionate about, Pokemon battling and training Pokemon also was something he wanted to do. So just after his 18th birthday Ozmin set off with Scyther and began to travel, cooking in different towns to earn money and catching many different Pokemon that he trained to help him in the kitchen. Ozmin was frequently asked if he was going to take on the Pokemon League Challenge but every time he swiftly denied, as much as he loved battling and training Pokemon the love for cooking and being a chef was still there.
As time went on both Ozmin's cooking style and fighting style grew with his Pokemon and he had finally reached the point where he believed he could start his life as a Battle Chef. Soon after he received an invitation from Gray Haven Academy to serve as the Head Chef and after doing much research and finding that it would be a great place where he could not only cook every day but he could battle up and coming trainers along with living around Pokemon.
