Name: Mallory Dracul (may also go by Mallory Hunt)
Age: 15
Date of Birth: 22nd March
Birthplace: Kalos, Lumiose City (but grew up in Camphrier Town)
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Female
Face Claim: Mai Taniyama (Ghost Hunt)
Appearance:
Distinguishing Features: She wears a beaded bracelet almost all the time, except when there’s a high risk of it being damaged.
Height: 5’4”
Character Type: Origin Spy
Personality: A nervous and somewhat timid-acting girl, Mallory claims to suffer from anxiety and, as a result, almost always has one of her Pokémon alongside her to ‘keep her calm’. She doesn’t often speak out first, letting others do the talking whilst she just listens, and when asked about it she simply says she’s shy.
But in truth, Mallory is neither anxious nor shy. She is a cunning and somewhat manipulative girl who puts on an act to try and stay suspicion-free. Due to her pretence that her Pokémon give her confidence, she usually claims any slip-ups in her act are purely because she had one of her Pokémon with her.
Mallory is also quite selfish. She doesn’t care much for others, and will always put herself first, even if it means betraying her best friend. The exception to this is her Pokémon, which always come before her in her mind, simply because without them she may as well be nothing.

History:
Mallory was born in the busy city of Lumiose, Kalos, with the surname Dracul. For the first five years of her life she grew up there, happy and innocent and without a care in the world. When she was five her father decided to move to the countryside where she would have more space to play, and so they moved to the nearby, smaller town of Camphrier Town. There, Mallory began to make a few friends and attend school.
She quickly began to develop a keen interest in Pokémon, and specifically in Pokémon battles. As she grew up, she would often ask to see the Pokémon of trainers passing through the town, and at times would resent the fact her parent had moved away from Lumiose, which she saw as a much better opportunity to met new Pokémon and trainers. But her life was still a happy one until her eighth birthday.
The year Mallory turned eight was the year everything seemed to go wrong. Her father lost his job working in the local Poke Mart. But even though he no longer had a job, money still came into the family, despite the fact Mallory’s mother didn’t work. Mallory never questioned where it came from, but she often heard her mother argue with her father over it. The arguments grew worse until eventually her mother decided to leave, and tried taking Mallory with her. Mallory refused to go, not wanting to leave her friends or father behind, and so her mother left without her, instead settling for visiting occasionally. On one such visitation, when Mallory was nine, she left a present in the form of a Skiddo- Mallory’s first Pokémon. Determined to best his ex-wife’s present, her father gave her a Growlithe just a few weeks later, along with a beaded bracelet.
When Mallory was twelve, the truth of where the money was coming from was revealed. Her father was working for criminal gangs, stealing and even killing at times, and was caught and arrested for his crimes. Suddenly, nobody wanted to know Mallory, the daughter of a criminal. Even her best friends from her early childhood turned away from her on the advice of their parents, and so she was left alone. Mallory began to turn bitter about this betrayal, and after she was forced to go and live with her mother, who had moved back to Lumiose City, she began isolating herself more and more, with only her Skiddo and Growlithe for companionship. Her mother did not help matters when she had Mallory’s surname changed to Hunt in an attempt to cut all connections to Mallory’s father.
After a few weeks, Mallory grew curious about the sort of life her father had led, and turned to theft, not out of need but simply for the thrill of it. It was something she wasn’t allowed to do and, after being taken away from her father, Mallory had lost any respect she might have had for the law.
Time passed. Mallory remained isolated from her classmates and continued to steal from and manipulate people, gradually getting better and better as she grew more experienced. Her mother began to worry about her daughter’s disappearances and isolation, and finally decided the best thing for her would be to attend the school she had heard about, Gray Haven Academy. Some spent time living around other students, away from home and the stories of her father, would do her some good. So she had Mallory enrolled and sent her off.
Unfortunately for her mother, things didn’t go quite as planned. Upon Mallory’s arrival at the island, she bumped into a group of rather unsavoury characters, who offered her a place as a spy for their group- Team Origin. Excited by the prospect of following in her father’s footsteps, and keen to have a place she felt she truly belonged, Mallory agreed and became a spy, and started to go by Mallory Dracul again to reinforce her ties to her father.
