Personality: Despite her rather dark and somber appearance Evie is actually very bubbly and happy go lucky. She loves mystery and adventures, as a child she used to roam about the Pokemon Tower to try and find ghosts. She's very energetic and loves to hear a good joke. She's pretty friendly too, she likes to try to talk to new people at least once. But this isn't to say that she's happy and friendly all the time. When she battles she takes things seriously as it's her job as the Mana Warden, she takes it easy on beginners but won't give experts any breaks. She's not very nice either when she gets mad. She rarely loses her temper but when she does, everyone look out. People seem to be surprised by her because they expect her to be creepy and dark but she's not like that at all. She likes spooky things, she likes creepy stuff, but if you ever talked to her she's not like that.

History: Evie grew up in Lavender Town as a child and enjoyed the spooky and scary stories that people shared about the Pokemon Tower, the largest Pokemon Graveyard in the Kanto Region. Evie spent a lot of time in the towers trying to catch glimpses of ghost pokemon but she was never able to catch any. Most kids found her to be weird she was always going to the tower, she run off doing something crazy, pretending to be a witch. It made the kids stay away from her, although she was sad and alone she still did as she wished.
Her parents were getting concerned, she was growing up and doing more weird and strange things. She would wear all black no matter the occasion, she still pretended to be a witch, she would pretend to do hexes on the other kids which scared them, and she still spent so much time in the tower doing who knows what. Her parents loved her very much but they were getting very concerned with her behavior. Despite all this Evie wasn't mean or rude, she was just kidding around. She was having fun and that's why these things didn't bother her.
Eventually while hanging out at the graves she ran into a ghost pokemon, a Ghastly since that was the only ghost pokemon that'd existed in the Kanto region at the time. The Ghastly took a liking to Evie and began follow her around. Evie couldn't get it to go back to the tower so she allowed it to stay with her. This was the final straw, her parents weren't sure what to do with her so they decided to send her to her grandparents out on Harmonia Island.
Evie wasn't too upset about being sent away in fact she kind of looked forward to it. Her parents just didn't understand, she loved her grandparents. They tolerated her strange behavior more than anyone. So they were happy to have her come to live with them. They enrolled her to Gray Haven Academy, a pokemon school that taught young people how to be trainers.
Evie went and got put into Mana Dorm on account of her Ghastly whom she dubbed Nox. She was surprised to find people just like her. Well not exactly like her but they shared tons of interests. She felt right at home despite missing the pokemon tower.
Some time passed and Evie graduated from the Academy, her parents called her if she wanted to come home but she declined, saying that she loved the Island. She took up the job offering to be the Mana Dorm Warden and that's basically how things started. She's a bit new but she's looking to have some fun battles and hand out badges to kids who've earned it.
