Personality: Ribbon, on the outside, is a quiet and reserved character who usually keeps to herself. She seldom appears within a crowd and can usually be found somewhere quiet with almost no people around. It is almost as if she creates and invisible wall between herself and the outside world. She is often found in a reverie, thinking about the mysteries of the pokemon world.
However, once she gets to know someone or if someone manages to break the initial barrier around her, she soon switches gears into a fairly sociable person who has no qualms in talking about anything under the sun. It’s most likely that any topic on ghost, psychic and dark type pokemons will get her interest. Stories of adventure and mysteries are also her favorites.
She is calm in all situations, usually being the first one to come up with a valid explanation on most predicaments. She is amazingly blunt at all situations, the scale on her sense of humor dropping somewhere around zero. But, on certain situations, even Ribbon is able to use her wit along with her straightforward answers.
Besides the already mentioned, her interests lie in researching on legendary pokemons, their origin and other aspects that created and molded the pokemon world to what it is. Obviously, her favorite subject just turns out to be history. Her photographic memory lets her store all information she read or saw even once for the rest of her life, effortlessly making her a true genius. However, Ribbon keeps her information to herself and doesn’t poke her nose into business other than her own.

History: With its history stretching over a hundred years, Taylour family was a noble house that recently came out of its glory days only to have their people desperately cling on to their past conquests and achievements. Ribbon was born to Delphine Taylour and Ralph Taylour, two people who threw away the prestigious power their family name gave them. They were researchers in the Kalos region, and travelled around the world, meeting all kinds of pokemon, taking Ribbon with them. At this time, Ribbon was only five years old, was always energetic and enthusiastic. She easily made friends with the pokemon and helped her parents with their research.
When she was seven, her parents had no other choice to leave her with her grandparents, the ones who still held their noble privileges (only in words) close, while they flew to the Kanto region to take part in some meeting among people of their interests. Unfortunately, it was their last trip for the plane they ride on got into an unforeseen accident.
From that point onwards, Ribbon was forced to stay with her grandparents who were strict and difficult, forcing her into learning all sorts of things that a ‘true lady’ should know. This easily made her turn away from people and shut herself off from others. She met Zorua, beaten and injured, on her garden when she was ten and Espurr was given to her by one of the maids who found it abandoned near the house. They became her friends from that point and it was also around this time that she took a deeper interest into psychic, dark and ghost type pokemons and later on the origin of the world and pokemon. The Academy was one of her threads of hope of both getting away from the Taylour family and of beginning on her own research on pokemons.
