Personality
Shen is a very quite guy an tends to stick to himself.
Usually when talking to people he enjoys making a
somewhat snob impression and have a bit of a smart-
ass attitude.
He dislikes people in general, but there are certain ways
to get on Shen's good side. Shen, is a sucker for a good
feed. There may be a bit of rough skin on the outside,
but if you pull it back layer by layer you will eventually
get there.
Although it may be hard to get on Shen's good side,
it is pretty easy to be kicked out. He has been betrayed
many times in his life and he hates being lied to and
manipulated, so he tends to take situations way out of
proportion.
In school, Shen is pretty laid back and tries his best
to get his work completed. Although, he does have
a slight tendency of back chatting either a smart alik
student or an off kinda teacher.

History
Shen grew up in Kanto along side his mother who would
be about forty two years of age now. She was a kind person
and was very good at taking care of Shen. They lived
in Saffron city, the big city in the centre of the Kanto
region and also home to the casino which Shen's mother
was somewhat addicted to. In the end it gave the two
a hard time with Shen's dad being known to him for
some time now.
His father left when he was two, he does not know
why or what he went for as his mother always looked
away and/or changed the subject whenever he would
bring it up. Although Shen had an easy enough time
keeping the man off his mind, he would always wonder
where and who he was.
When Shen was around ten his mother got very ill
and was in and out of hospital for while. While this
was going on Shen found his absolute love for Pokemon
through a Pokemon that he had just grown fond
of from when he met it wandering in to town.
It was a Gastly, and ever since they met, Shen
was in love with ghost type Pokemon.
Soon after, his mother passed away and Shen moved
to the island to be with his uncle and Aunt that did
occasionally visit his mother and him. His uncle was
somewhat of a second dad to him in a way. Meaning
he knew almost everything about Shen and most
defiantly about his love for Pokemon and ghost Pokemon
in general.
Because of this, Shen's uncle handed him down a Pokemon
that his dad use to own, a Phantump. Shen didn't have a
clue at the time, but Shen's uncle was actually a good
friend of his father and was the reason his mother and him
met. Shen decided not to ask his uncle about his father
as he never brought it up, so it must have been a hard topic.
Shen has attended the Academy ever since he moved to the
island.
