?why am i scared to close my eyes?
Shen had heard a lot about this manor and the stories behind it's existence and what happened within it's walls. Of course Shen knew that most of it was just rumoured and many other had venture within the building and come out as good as new, but he couldn't help but be curious. The detail within the stories were very graphic and hard to believe that a person could just make up on the spot.
Then again, you can never tell with the people in this day and age.
Shen stood on the dirt mount at the bottom of the brick stairs that led up to the amazing structure. He slowly began to walk forward towards the steps, the stories flowing through his head. As he climbed the steps he felt something brush over his ankle, Shen jumped up in the air and fell on his backside. As much as he hated to admit it, being a ghost trainer, he was always spectacle of these sorts of things.
Shen looks down at where his foot once was and a small branch with leaves on it was sitting on the step. Shen mustn't have noticed it as he went to walk up. He gave a little smirk to himself as he rubbed the back of his head.
Shen stood back up and continued towards the large wooden door. The door handle had a golden paint on it, well at least it use too, most of the paint has been scratched off or just rusted away. Shen took a deep breath as he placed his hand on the door knob and turned it to enter the empty building.
The door screeched as Shen pushed it open, revealing a large open room filled with nothing but what looked like a piano covered by a torn old cloth. The floor was made of old fashioned wood that they must have used during the early settlement of the island. A large staircase lead up to a second floor with two doors leading to separate rooms next to the base of the stair.
The top layer of the house was hard to see through the thick blackness of the old rusted railings.
Shen began to explore further as he walked through the door left of the stairs base.
