Okay everyone. We've got a plot problem

Originally there was a meta-plot involving Team Origin and a world altering event that was their doing that sounded like it was ripped right out of Gen 4 Canon with Team Galactic ideas and that originally Team Origin wasn't meant to be playable but was added last minute.

However that plot was put on the back burner when Kitten4u took over from Chromic and Eri, the original creators and she didn't like the dark plot line and preferred a slice of life type plot with no world changing events and that it will be character driven and everyone will be able to create their own stories and tie them to each other.

The problem with that is that without plot events, sites just get boring and fold because people just tend to get bored and just move on to other things without developing plot because in the end it doesn't really mean anything in the long run.

So Reedra and I are going to try and rectify that. The question is how and we want your input

Here are some line of thoughts

Do you want Team Origin to exist and be a current threat to Harmonia Island?

Do you want Team Origin to exist but be different like not the criminals they were painted to be in the first place and then a conflict develops with an outside force?

Do you want Team Origin to somehow vanish and a new threat (like an organized Crime team like Rocket, Plasma etc) to show up and cause problems?

Do you want Team Origin to mysteriously vanish and no threat show up but strange things start happening and it's up to people to stop these mysterious attacks?

Or do you prefer that we don't have a centralized plot and just will just keep going as is.

I'd like Team Origin to be a current threat in some way. Threats and conflicts are always interesting to me.

I actually put forward an idea regarding Team Origin to Kitten a while back, but never got around to putting it into play. The basic idea was that Team Origin members/spies (or anyone else, really) could steal Pokémon from students/staff, and there could be missions (which could be open to staff characters as well as students so they have more to do) to retrieve them, or the thief could just keep the Pokémon depending on what the victim's player wanted to happen. Kitten suggested I make a plot thread for it in the board, but as I said I never got around to it.

It's just as you stated; without some form of site-wide plot line, there really isn't much of a skeleton to build a character's story upon. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for member-driven stories and everything. On the flip side, every story has got to have a starting point.

With that said, I'd like see Team Origin as a current threat to the island, as originally intended.
