Personality: Santos has two sides. On the surface especially to those who don’t know who he is. He comes off as smug, prideful, and rude. He tends to always want to be above others looking down on them with a smug confident grin or light chuckle before slipping into the shadows and disappearing. In groups he just listens to others never offering an opinion or idea unless asked directly however sometimes he can’t help but make faces like rolling his eyes especially if an idea or statement sounds ridiculous or came from an idiot. Inside however he is intimidated by those with more strength or knowledge so he seeks to gain advantages of stealth and mystery just to have the ability to overcome his lower levels of strength and knowledge. He rarely shows his heart to humans but Pokemon especially his companions know that Shadow has a good heart. He just knows that humans especially those with power or wealth are dark creatures.

History: Santos Xaphier was born and raised in Mavro City. He was a weird kid in his youth always preferring the company of Pokemon instead of being in a human group. His two companions Candle a Litwick always loved to glow bright enough to give Shadow enough light for reading and was always the comforting friend that always helped Santos feel better and Tick the Joltik was also a reading companion. All and all he wasn’t a bad kid just different and he baffled many people on why he never fit the mold for anything. He even tried to go the academy but he found himself disliking a lot of the foreign students there. He decided to drop out soon after from then on he just did various things with his Pokemon and then he got wind of Team Origin. They were a new thing and against the existing authority. Somewhat curious and bored Santos joined up as Shadow refusing to tell his real name to anyone of the team. His plans are unknown but if Team Origin proves to be worth anything then he may rise up in the ranks otherwise he may just find something else to do with his life.
