After a bit more running the crab army faded into the distance and nothing else popped out of the water to stop her from getting out of there.  Looked like she was home free with two fistfulls of moss, like this was some actual accomplishment.  While it ended up being a bit more difficult than she was expecting, it was still a job a pokemon could have done.  A team of 2-3 people hardly seemed necessary.  Did they just have nothing better for them to do or something?  Regardless, on some level, Naveta was still happy to assist them with their research, and hoped they'd be willing to share some of it with their flunkies so she wouldn't have to do any digging herself and risk pissing them off.

"I'll go hand all this off.  Later Newcomer."

Naveta carefully stuck the moss in her bag and, with a wave, headed back to headquarters to give the moss to her superiors (as much as that term offended her sensibilities).  Whether or not Newcomer decided to come along was none of her concern at this point. He could do what he wanted.
