Shane Alexander Norwood male  |  sixteen  |  heterosexual |  aspiring pro trainer   FRIENDS Shane is pretty much open to any possible form of companionship. The problem with that however is that good company (aside from his Pokemon) never seemed to present itself to this trainer-in-the-making very often when you've lived a harshly sheltered lifestyle like he had before enrolling in Gray Haven. For the most part, he's a fairly easy-going young man. Of course, Harmonia Island is an entirely new environment to him (as it is with most incoming new students apparently), and so there's no question that he'll at least try to get acquainted with as many fellow inhabitants as possible. ENEMIES If there's one thing that Shane may dislike about anyone, it's the way they mistreat their Pokemon. Or worse, the methods in which they use these majestic creatures to perform some kind of dastardly deed that may not be approved by some. Furthermore, Shane is known for speaking his mind and acting on instincts alone when the going gets rough. There's the chance that his impulsiveness may not sit well with some people, and that's perfectly fine. If you somehow manage to cross the line, you'll have quite the hill to climb if you wish to get in good graces with him. He's not going to waste his time dwelling on it though. He does have a dream to fulfill after all, and enemies of any kind are surely not part of it. LOVES It's sad to say that love, or the ability to love someone whose not your family or Pokemon for that matter, is a rather foreign subject for Shane. Admittedly, he's not exactly excelling in that particular department. In all honesty, during most of the time in which he's been working through that inevitable phase of everyone's lives that is puberty, he's been more focused on training his Pokemon rather than training his hormones. He isn't quite sure exactly of how to handle a relationship of that significant magnitude. Sure, he's a smart kid; he'll figure it out in due time. Whether or not that time is now remains in question. Although if you'd like to try going down that road with Shane, then by all means be my guest! Hi there! After reading and looking at Shane's app and plotter, I think these two could be wonderful friends to have. Lithra would admire that he has an actual goal, compared to her where she has no clue with what she wants, and would enjoy his personality. That gung-ho attitude? Wonderful to her! She's a bit emotion driven herself so they could have a wild ride, haha. It seems they both love their partner pokemon and raising pokemon with care so that's an easy bond right from the start. Lithra needs a bit of help when it comes to training in tactics, so maybe Shane offers to tutor her or we have a practice battle or whatnot.

Annnnd from the cbox conversation you may know where this is leading I do think Lithra would have a crush on Shane from both his appearance and his personality. That drive and decisiveness would make her gush. From your plotter it seems you're not too fussed with having Shane find a romantic relationship, so by all means I don't want to pressure you. If it's an unrequited crush then so be it! Just let me know if you're uncomfortable with that or would prefer something else. And if you want to see how things unfold with them, well, that works too!

Wow! Just...wow! These two together? Simply magical! Shane would definitely appreciate having such a lovely companion like Lithra around. No idea what she wants to do, you say? Well if anything, Shane would be the be one dork to offer the cliched advice of trusting that feeling in her gut although he probably wouldn't be able to live with himself if she ends becoming just as instinctive as he is, whoops. A friend of pokemon is without a doubt a friend of Shane indeed, so that's certainly something they can work off of from the get go.

Shane still has much to learn in the way of battle tactics himself, though he'd be more than willing to offer assistance to anyone who may be failing that particular subject. He may even want to invite Lithra to train with him so that hopefully she could learn something from him, and also perhaps strengthen their bond even more. I'm all for battling, even if it's only practicing!

I do think Lithra crushing on Shane would be freakishly adorable. In fact, there is a possibility that he may end up reciprocating that feeling in the long run. It may be a long shot, but surely worth a try! Please, don't feel like you're pressuring me or making me uncomfortable at all. Because really, you're not! I would love to see how things play out between them! In any case, I am stoked for this plot! <3

I'm so happy you like the plan for these two! Ah, that's wonderful! And I'm quite excited to plot things out between them. Lithra would laugh and smile at Shane's dorky advice and try her best to follow it. The most she can. I think these two can balance each other out nicely. Shane can help Lithra find direction and purpose with her pokemon career while Lithra could remind Shane to take a breath and enjoy life while still working for his goal. 

Perhaps we can do a thread where they are assigned paired homework for class and have to practice battling or tactics. That way they already know each other (kind of) from this hypothetical class and have a goal to work towards together. Practice battling, get training points for pokemon involved, and work on their relationship! What do you think?

Shane could definitely use a voice of reason (of sorts) in his life, and I like the idea of these two practically feeding off each other's emotions. He's going to need someone to convince him to take a chill pill every now and then while he's providing a sense of purpose. I love it!

I'm totally down for a thread taking place after battle tactics class or whatever with them being paired for a practice battle. I think it's an ideal way to see exactly how well Shane, Lithra, and their pokemon interact with one another. What's even better is that they're all gaining experience from it!

I can't wait to get started! If you'd like to go ahead and start a thread for them, that'd be great! If not, I can. I'm cool either way. :D
