Now that Naveta had explored the edges of the island, it was time to tackle the center. It was in a bit of an annoying place sadly. On the north side were the volcano and the sand dunes, and to the south was the swamp. Right between them was the heart of the academy. All things considered, she probably wouldn't be too out of place at the academy as long as she kept a hood on given how short she was, but she would still prefer to not be seen there. So, she went near dawn while it was still dark out instead of going near broad daylight. In the end, it made that big sunflower field more like the garden of the moon, but she could wander around there for a couple of hours to see what it looked like once the sun rose at least. Judging by what she heard, it would be completely worth it.
In the mean time, it was time to see what this area offered. Naveta summoned Arkose to light up the area and took a closer look at things. Judging by how contained the flowers were, it was probably a very well maintained area rather than a wild one. The flowers themselves also showed signs of being taken care of by a human rather than just pokemon. What was oddest to her, was how close the garden was to the base of the mountain. The fact that there was so much grass and other vegetation here suggested that it didn't get hit by the last volcanic eruption, especially considering how little vegetation there was on the volcano itself. However, the field was right at the base of the mountain. It seemed odd that the the last lava flow would have stayed on the slanted parts of the mountain and barely hit the flatter parts of the island at all. Perhaps that was artificial too? It was hard to say.
