Hello all. How have your days been? I hope they've gone well. You've probably noticed that Chrom and I have been fairly quiet lately. I won't mince words. For various reasons, we've lost interest in the board. We have neither the drive to continue playing, nor the interest to continue running it. We're done, and there's really nothing that's going to change our minds on it at this point. But, fear not, there's two ways this can play out, and you'll all have some form of entertainment remaining for you, either way. Allow me to explain how things can play out below.
First, we simply stop modding. There'll be no more modding in any way. You can socialize and perform threads normally, and, honestly, you could even spawn for each other, if you really wanted to. The resources are there- you'd mainly need rolling information, provided you didn't just hand out whatever the other party wanted. With the exception of properly arranged events, missions, and the like, nothing would really stop you from enjoying things with the characters you've already got. The only catch is that no more new characters could be made and accepted properly (that's shifting of member groups, and all that other stuff).
The other way this can turn out is through someone taking up the mantle. Well, some people, rather. Even with the system here having been designed to cut down on modding work, letting it fall all to one person can be a soul-hollowing process of tediousness and boredom. Whoever steps up could take the roles. Upon being recognized, they could make a mod account and be given the proper level of power needed to manage things. Again, we'd give them all the proper roll information, but whether they choose to use that as the foundation of their system, or throw it out entirely, would be up to them.
That's about it. You can discuss amongst yourselves in this thread to figure out what you want- either a lack of new people, but full autonomy, or a new set of staff, which may or may not impartially mod for you. It's up to you. We'll leave you to it. In any case, we'll wait a few days to see what you all decide, and who, if any, step up.
See you soon, darlings.
