Amber stands at 5'2", being awfully short even for a fairly young girl. She has long, unruly blonde hair with a single braid, as well as almond-shaped light brown eyes. She's almost always wearing a silk "witch"-style hat, said to be a lucky charm. All in all, she appears to be very neat and organized. She takes pride in her appearance, and there is nary a wrinkle in the outfits that she tends to wear.

History: Amber is quite the odd bird. A young girl hailing from Laverre City, she grew up in the eternally-autumnal forests of the area, showing an interest in Pokemon and battling since she was rather young. Neither of her parents were trainers, and both were slightly baffled by her passions, having expected their daughter to be more interested in the medical or care-based side of a life with Pokemon. Heeding her interests, they eventually bought a young Espurr from a local Pokemon breeder as a companion for her, but Amber was clearly more interested in going adventuring with the Psychic-type than keeping it simply as a pet.

Flavor Text: Amber's first Pokemon. Quite the little thing, no? Mewlia was Amber's trusted partner as she grew up in Laverre City... which is to say, she was the family pet. Unused to battling, the little Espurr was more a companion than anything else, but her psychic attacks pack quite the punch nevertheless. Amber has recently tried priming Mewlia for battle before coming to attend Gray Haven, and her efforts have paid off in the stronger psychic moves of Light Screen and Psybeam. After all, every witch needs a cat.

Flavor Text: The first Pokemon Amber ever met in the wild. Quite shy for a ghost, rather than leading the child astray in the woods, it followed Amber back to her house and... never quite left. Amber was friendly towards the threatening-looking ghost-type Pokemon, providing it sweets and berries to eat rather than life energy. Laverre being the Hex Maniac sanctuary that it is, the townspeople saw it as a sign of good luck. Of course, poor Skullton got the fluffy nickname treatment, too.
