Even after climbing down the rocky cliff side to the ocean, all Naveta could do was stare at the ocean. Not because of its beauty, but because she absolutely hated the ocean. She hated the rain, she hated the water, she hated getting wet, she hated all the salt that clung to her clothes after they dried because the ocean couldn't satisfied with just being wet. Sadly, there was another small island near Harmonia, and she wanted to get to it. This meant that she was going to have to brave the ocean once more. Sure, she had some pokemon that could help her with this, but they were much too small to actually carry her without getting her wet. They were basically glorified life preservers at this point. A certain incident did give her an idea of how to handle this though.
Naveta released Swash and Firn into the water. Swash looked as grumpy as ever, which clearly upset Firn. As usual, she just wanted to help everyone feel better. Shortly after, she released Arkose as well, who was much bigger than the last time she did this. He even had more convenient hand holds thanks to part of his head that looked like a stupid hat. She manually moved them to be about shoulder length apart with Arkose floating above the two water pokemon in the middle. If they were good enough, she should be able to just surf on both the frillish and the seel while holding onto her floating mismagius and avoid getting too wet, much like last time she tried this. That said, she was still taking off her shoes for this.
"Firn, if I get wet I'm going to blame you for not being good enough at this."
Firn blinked a few times and suddenly looked a bit worried. Naveta payed no mind to it as she positioned herself on top of her pokmeon. Then, it was time to take off. Firn was clearly trying hard to mirror Swash's movements, making them stay pretty close to each other. Naveta didn't even have to do any interesting acrobatics to stay on this time, the whole ride was just that smooth. It didn't even take that long to get onto the island. She expected it to be much more difficult based on the rumors she heard, but this wasn't that bad at all. Once she was safely on the beach once more, she gave all her pokemon a berry in thanks and returned them to their balls.
Geologically, this island didn't seem that much different from the mainland proper. The shape of it seemed a little unnatural though. Some of the rock faces were just way too smooth to be natural. Was this done by humans, or by the pokemon living here? It was hard to say in the end.
