Name: Misja DeAkose
Age: 19
Date of Birth: August 9
Birthplace: Castelia City, Unova
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: ~*~It's a Mystery~*~
Face Claim: Hagoromo Gitsune from Nurarihyon no Mago
Appearance:
Distinguishing Features: Misja's skin is very pale due to all the time she spends indoors. The fact that her hair is dark and tends to wear dark clothes makes her skin look even paler. She doesn't look sickly though.
She doesn't that much younger than she actually is, but she's young enough that she can still pass as a student. Sometimes she'll even go to classes for giggles.
Due to her skill in makeup, sewing and clothes, she's good at making herself look like someone else. Sometimes people meet her without even realizing it's her.
Height: 5'8"
Character Type: Director-type Warden; Cool type
Personality: The way Misja carries herself shows more than just confidence, it's more like she has an aura of infallibility. She has perfect posture, a calm demeanor and believes she can do anything. This confidence carries into everything she does, and that combined with her general levelheadedness makes her appear almost fearless. In some ways, fearless is an accurate way to describe her. She learns fast and picks up new skills even faster, so she's not afraid to try new things. She's also difficult to intimidate, and is just generally not afraid of people. In fact, she rather enjoys pushing back when people attempt to intimidate her in an effort to intimidate them. In general, she's not afraid to speak her mind, though most of the time she has some sense of tact.
Despite all that, she's actually rather insecure, she just never lets it show because of that insecurity. She has to be powerful and perfect at all times. She always has to be the best at everything with no exceptions, coming in second place is just as bad as losing. It doesn't matter how well she did in the end or if she tried her best; those were just excuses that losers made. This attitude has made her a complete perfectionist, to the point that it hinders what she can accomplish. She tends to do things slowly because any mistakes are unacceptable. This attitude has also made her very critical of other people, believing that even minor mistakes are just a result of laziness or incompetence. She's not necessarily arrogant enough to believe that she's just better than people, but she does imply it sometimes. She finds it hard to argue with her results, but she doesn't believe that's a sign of inherent superiority, just a sign that she works harder and better than most people.
Misja often comes across as kind and helpful with a desire to help people achieve their goals if they can muster up the courage to talk to her. In general, she likes being the center of attention, whether that be at a performance or even just a basic outing with people. However, she doesn't like to appear this way, seeing it as the same as appearing desperate for recognition and validation. Thus, she tends to act rather cooly around people in general, even when trying to appear helpful.
Her so-called desire to help and understand people is just a facade in the end anyway. The truth is, Misja absolutely hates people. All of them. There are so few exceptions that they're not even worth mentioning. It's a genuine hatred too, not a fluffy dislike or mistrust. She hates it when anyone is happy, when anyone is successful (especially when they're more successful than her), and even when they have happy, healthy relationships with other people. When she sees any of this the only thing she can think about is how to burn it all. There's very little she enjoys more than slowly ripping apart someone's life and the inevitable crash the person feels for having such things done to them. She particularly likes turning things that they once enjoyed against them, using that as a catalyst for their own misery.
Likes: Singing and performing, reading (particularly science fiction), the rain, fancy clothing
Dislikes: The outdoors, loud noises, strong smells such as candles, responsibilities and schedules
History: From the outside, Misja looked fortunate. She was born into an extremely wealthy family, to a couple that were absolutely in love with each other and rarely fought. She was an only child, and her parents loved doting on her. In reality, things were not so simple. Her father was the CEO of a multi-regional company, and was rarely home. In her loneliness, her mother never let Misja have any personal space. It wasn't so bad when she was two or three, but it got increasingly uncomfortable as she got older. As she got older, she continued to look more and more like her mother. Whether it was a coincidence or not, her mother began to project her own desires and insecurities onto her daughter, and began to try and achieve her own failed dreams through her.
Rules began to control her life. Bed time was at 9PM, and not a second later. There was a particular order to use all the dinner forks in. Only the right hand should be used for writing. There were certain ways to sit, stand, walk, run, move her arms, move her legs, smile, dress, keep her hair, and speak. This was just the way things were done, and any deviation from them would leave a negative impression on anyone she met, or so she was told. Further, it was never enough to just be good. Anything short of perfection was unacceptable. It was never enough to have one skill, she had to be good at everything her mother wanted her to be good at. From the age of four, she was enrolled in several different types of classes and activities. They ranged from the academic to the arts to more practical skills. Her head was filled with more than she could possibly remember; math, science, literature, grammar, history, anthropology, culture, painting, drawing, sculpture, acting, singing, dancing, softball, volley ball, soccer, public speaking, sewing, crotchet, basket weaving, animal care, pokemon, and many more things. She never owned any toys or games because there was no time for her to play with any of them. She never had any time to herself, she never had any time to relax. It was always time for something else. She couldn't fail at any of them either, or be anything short of perfect.
Once her actual formal education began a new necessity was introduced. It wasn't enough to do well in school, it wasn't enough to do well in her other activities, she had to be popular too. It was important to have friends, and Misja simply wasn't making them fast enough for her mother's taste. Misja wasn't exactly shy, but she was on the introverted side and due to all her other responsibilities never had much energy for talking to people. Rather than take this as a sign that she should back off and let Misja handle life at her own pace, her mother decided to make some friends for her and even scheduled times for them to play. This grew her responsibilities further, and that's all she saw them as. It was difficult for her to see them as anything more.
Eventually, Misja couldn't waste even a single second. Even walking slightly too slow, or taking a moment to catch her breath could result in her not being able to do what she needed to do. She was stressed, so much so that she always looked tired and gradually started to put less and less energy into everything she did. It went on for years, and the only comments her mother could make was how disappointed she was that Misja looked as terrible as she did. She grew to hate all her friends, all her teachers, and all her coaches. It started as a dull burn, but slowly became almost murderous. It drifted into her feelings towards everyone around her as well. With everything else she had to do, even someone saying hello in the hall was draining and wasted precious seconds she needed. The stress was slowly wearing away at her mind, and there was nothing she could do to ease it.
It all came to a head when she was ten years old. She couldn't take it anymore and was desperate to get out of this situation. One night, she snuck out of bed and grabbed a knife from the kitchen. She initially planned to just slit her mother's throat and deal with the consequences later, but in the end, she only got as far as grabbing the weapon. After quite some time standing in place, shaking and debating with herself, she decided against it and went back to bed. Not that she could actually sleep. Instead of sleeping, Misja stared at the ceiling, contemplating what else she could do. That was when everything clicked. Her life was bound by rules and obligations, but so was everyone else's in the end. It wouldn't be too hard to use the rules against them since she had such a great understanding of what they were and how they worked. She started simple, with missing homework assignments or bad test scores so that her 'friends' wouldn't be allowed to come to playdates. Gradually, she became more bold, getting some of them expelled from school, and keeping the rest either doing her homework for her or in a general state of unhappiness. It felt good to finally see people more miserable than she was.
Misja didn't stop with just her friends, she wanted to burn everything. Her next targets were her various coaches and teachers. One by one they started to get in trouble or suffer terrible accidents. Thanks to her eclectic skill set due to her many years being forced to learn many things, she was able to take several different approaches to avoid linking all the accidents back to her. She was even able to get some of them into really bad legal trouble with the help of her mother, who was more than happy to blame Misja's unhappiness on anything but herself. Eventually, Misja turned on her mother as well. It started with small things, like having a favorite dress ripped, or losing an important piece of jewelry. She wasn't satisfied with that though. Out of all the people she had to deal with, her mother was the one she hated the most and the one she thought was most deserving of any pain she got. Thus, she started fabricating some letters, phone calls and text messages to make it look like her father was seeing another woman, and at the same time caught wind of Gray Haven Academy. Completely losing her happy family was probably the worst thing Misja could do to her.
Misja enrolled in Gray Haven Academy when she was 12 years old, shortly after her parents split up. At first, she maintained regular contact with her mother. Over time, her messages to her mother got stranger and stranger, and after a few years passed, meaner and meaner. She no longer cared to keep up her facade of love, and when talking to her mother started to get boring, she broke off contact completely. Even though Misja was free of her mother, she wasn't free of her mother's influences. Misja was still a perfectionist, and still felt the need to excel in every class and be better than everyone at everything. She simply didn't know any other way to live. In the end, her stress levels remained high, even if they were lower than they were before. Her feelings towards people remained the same, as did her actions. She was always happy to see someone more unhappy than her, even if it was for just a moment.
During her time at the academy, she was at least able to discover what kinds of things she actually enjoyed, and even with her perfectionist tendencies, was able to find some time to pursue them. These things were mostly academic, like reading and writing, but she also found that she really enjoyed singing. Due to her early childhood, she was already very familiar with singing and many other forms of performance art, so rather than learn to sing she was able to learn how to sing better and expand her ability. Her vocal range is quite wide, and she's able to sing many different types of songs ranging from soothing ballads to heavy metal. She didn't have much interest in pokemon, but decided to use them in some of her performances anyway to keep the academy happy. During this time, she also figured out which path she wanted to take in the future. Coordination was a nice hobby, but it wasn't something she wanted to do professionally. Ultimately, she decided she wanted to go into law, and started to pursue that after graduation.
After she graduated, due to her success in the academy with many aspects of pokemon, she was asked to come back as a warden in order to run contest challenges for students. She wasn't wild about that part of the deal, but having a degree of authority and the ability to make her own money while she got her degree did. She agreed and returned to the academy, continuing her own education online.

Contest Stats: Cool (2/10) Beautiful (2/10) Cute (2/10) Clever (2/10) Tough (2/10)
Notes: Misja was never particularly fond of Alexandra, but ended up keeping her around anyway due to how useful having a pokemon that can transform into other things is. Alexandra is incredibly dim-witted, but is surprisingly good at pretending to be other people. Her observational skills are top-notch, so she can even mimic some of the small things that most people don't notice. Just don't expect any more than that, she's not good for much else.

Contest Stats: Cool (10/10) Beautiful (0/10) Cute (0/10) Clever (0/10) Tough (0/10)
Notes: Eleonora was Misja's first pokemon. She was a gift from her mother, given to her when she started learning how to train pokemon. Because of that, Misja has somewhat of an irrational hatred for her, but still keeps her around because she rather likes having a horse to ride.

Notes: Misja's second pokemon, Ivan was provided to her by the school since she only had one pokemon upon entering Gray Haven Academy. Since then, they've ended up being somewhat kindred spirits. Held Item: Blue Scarf
Moves: Water Pulse, Whirlpool, U-Turn, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Aqua Tail, Hyper Beam, Icy Wind, Signal Beam, Safeguard
Contest Stats: Cool (10/10) Beautiful (10/10) Cute (10/10) Clever (0/10) Tough (0/10)
Notes: Ibrahim is about as vain and arrogant as his expression makes him look. His fins are a bit larger than average, and have some nice patterns on them. He likes to show them off at every available opportunity.

Contest Stats: Cool (10/10) Beautiful (0/10) Cute (0/10) Clever (10/10) Tough (10/10)
Notes: Farouk became the leader of her pokemon shortly after he was captured. The only one that wasn't inclined to listen to him was Ivan, so they always butted heads. Farouk is very loud and proud, and doesn't take slights against him well.

Contest Stats: Cool (6/10) Beautiful (0/10) Cute (0/10) Clever (0/10) Tough (0/10)

Nickname: Caligula
Species: Lapras
Gender: Male
Ability: Shell Armor
Held Item: Blue Scarf
Moves: Water Pulse, Blizzard, Aqua Tail, Dragon Pulse, Outrage, Thunderbolt
Contest Stats: Cool (0/10) Beautiful (6/10) Cute (0/10) Clever (0/10) Tough (0/10)
Notes: Despite his namesake, Caligula is quiet and calm. He's very difficult to provoke, and almost never seems to feel anything besides very mild emotions. He's the easiest pokemon to be around because of his low key personality. Also makes a good sea mount.
Nickname: Anna
Species: Mawile
Gender: Female
Ability: Sheer Force
Held Item: Yellow Scarf
Moves: Iron Head, Crunch, Iron Defense, Incinerate, Giga Impact, Poison Fang
Contest Stats: Cool (0/10) Beautiful (0/10) Cute (0/10) Clever (0/10) Tough (6/10)
Notes: Anna was the first pokemon Misja caught. They get along well enough despite Anna's tendency to mess with everyone around her. Anna's trolling is mostly harmless, but it's made it so she rarely gets to leave her pokeball. Misja hated having to look for her pens all the time.
Tier 3
Nickname: Charles
Species: Purrloin
Gender: Male
Ability: Prankster
Held Item: None
Moves: Night Slash, Aerial Ace, Shadow Claw, Hyper Voice
Contest Stats: Cool (2/10) Beautiful (0/10) Cute (0/10) Clever (0/10) Tough (0/10)
Notes: Charles is a master of framing other people and pokemon for his actions. He rarely gets in trouble, and is almost always able to get other people in trouble. Granted, in recent years, Misja knows that if food goes missing it's probably him.
Nickname: George

Gender: Male
Ability: Blaze
Held Item: None
Moves: Psybeam, Flamethrower, Overheat, Psyshock
Contest Stats: Cool (0/10) Beautiful (2/10) Cute (0/10) Clever (0/10) Tough (0/10)
Notes: George is a hyperactive little creature. He always wants to play, and always wants attention. He's very enthusiastic about everything he does, to the point of being annoying. George is one of Misja's least favorite pokemon, and only still has him because no one else wanted to adopt him.
Nickname: Erik
Species: Glameow
Gender: Male
Ability: Own Tempo
Held Item: None
Moves: Bite, Scratch, Thunderbolt, Super Fang
Contest Stats: Cool (0/10) Beautiful (0/10) Cute (0/10) Clever (0/10) Tough (2/10)
Notes: Erik is normally too busy preening himself to be too much of a hassle to take care of. He likes keeping his fur very clean, and looking good is one of the things that he considers most important in life. He moves very deliberately, though the result isn't really that elegant.

Nickname: Farouk
Species: Pyroar
Gender: Male
Ability: Moxie
Held Item: Yellow Scarf
Moves: Work Up, Takedown, Noble Roar, Headbutt, Giga Impact, Incinerate, Double Team, Dark Pulse, Hyper Voice, Bulldoze
Tier 2
Nickname: Justin
Species: Dragonair
Gender: Male
Ability: Marvel Scale
Held Item: Red Scarf
Moves: Thunder Wave, Outrage, Hyper Beam, Ice Beam, Iron Tail, Dragon Pulse
Contest Stats: Cool (6/10) Beautiful (0/10) Cute (0/10) Clever (0/10) Tough (0/10)
Notes: Justin was always quiet and somewhat dour, but after Misja gave up many of her pokemon after graduating, he became more depressed. She ended up giving up many of his friends, and he hasn't quite recovered from it yet.
Species: Fennekin
