She doesn't care for people who are content spending their lives wandering aimlessly and without goals for the future. Also, while Celeste will not demand respect — as she is well aware of her own high standards regarding the issue — she will be upset if people insult her skills as a coordinator, or, potentially, a teacher. ROMANCE FEELS LIKE WE'RE LOVERS Due to various issues regarding her family, Celeste is not the most well-versed in creating or committing to close relationships. Hi there! So I'm very excited to see that Celeste is our first Coordination teacher! Lithra here will be going into that branch, though first she needs the person to show/teach her about contests and coordination before she figures out that's what she wants. As of right now she knows neither breeding nor battling is exactly for her and is at a bit of a loss as to what to do at the Academy. Now I see Celeste is a stickler for people with goals and having a student like Lithra probably won't be her favorite right away. Lithra is goalless-- though not because she wants to be. She envies those with purpose and wants to have purpose. Coordination will be that eventually. I hope Celeste takes Lithra under her wing to groom her to be a coordinator, but I don't want to impose that on you or Celeste to begin with. Just ramblings of an excited muse!

I'm a little uncertain how Celeste will see Lithra, to be honest. Lithra will admire and resepct Celeste greatly as her teacher. She'll want to learn everything she can and make Celeste proud. She's a hard working and, once she gets this goal, will have the passion to make for a dedicated pupil. That's the Lithra I think Celeste can come to appreciate.

I also have a Warden-Gym Leader, Seth Silvester , who would admire Celeste's talent and skills. These two could make for good friends, respectable, and proper company and all that. But whether you'd like to do anything with those two is up to you-- I just wanted to offer that as well.

Lithra Trease  and Celeste Bonnaire

Ahh, I'm glad someone is interested in coordination (I was kind of worried that a lot of people would pass it over in favor of battling haha). But, they might end up getting off to a slightly rocky start if Lithra is unsure of what she plans to do, especially if Lithra doesn't have a thick skin to put up with Celeste's blunt — but well-meaning — critique. But, as Lithra develops as a person and coordinator, Celeste would be more than happy to be a mentor to Lithra. In the meantime, if Lithra demonstrates herself as a hard-worker, Celeste will grow to respect her. (I can definitely see Celeste start offering Lithra more competitive tips as Lithra becomes more interest in coordination haha). 


As for Seth Silvester , I feel like they could become the type of friends who can enjoy the virtue of silence together haha. Maybe, after a long day, they could be content in each other's company while doing their own activities quietly and occasionally speaking about what happened during the day (or, if Seth is more outspoken, he can lead the conversation while Celeste listens and comments every now and then).

But, I'm open to all kinds of plots, so tell me what you think!

I think you'll find lots of interest with coordination and Celeste's class. And, yes, this is going to be a painful but enlightening journey for Lithra. She'll have a hard time holding back her injured feelings given Lithra's an easy face to read, but she'll never cry or get upset or be emotional in front of Celeste directly. She'd take it in stride and Celeste's critique to heart. I think developing Lithra with Celeste will be the epitome of a teacher/student relationship with all that growth and learning! Though, I'm not too sure what Lithra can offer for Celeste, but we always learn from our students haha

Yes, that's exactly how I see them too! A smarky comment here and there as Celeste grades her student's work and Seth reviews gym battles. Quiet and elegant and pretty much two people who really are the best of the best.

I think Lithra would be able to give Celeste a more focused goal. Since Celeste is no longer competing in contests, she wants to see her students succeed like she once did. She wants to see them standing at the top of the coordinating world, and I think, as Lithra grows, Celeste will be able to feel a sense of accomplishment as a teacher. For now, do you want to see how they interact during class, and maybe create a private thread for an out of class discussion? Lithra seems pretty taken by Celeste, so maybe they can talk about their backgrounds and have Celeste give Lithra a push forward in realizing her own goals. 

As for Seth Silvester, do you want to start a thread for them? Maybe they can meet, and just talk about life at the Academy since Celeste is a new teacher (maybe Seth can warn her about unspoken rules or the students around here haha).

That's nice to hear! I'm glad Celeste will get something out of their relationship as well. I'm really eager to see the fall and rise of mentoring-- it's going to hurt and be so rewarding at the same time haha. I agree with you that we should wait till after the class thread to see how they interact and then do that private thread. Sounds great! Lithra is a bit starstruck, yeah, haha but given Celeste's appearance, her status, and collection of pokemon it's not out of the norm for a student to feel. I guess we'll see how this turns out!

I can definitely start a thread, though it may be in a bit as I'm trying to catch up what I owe so far. Seth has his own Milotic so maybe they meet each other while at the beach with their pokemon or another setting? I'm in the middle of a 'show them around tour' with Seth and another staff member so I'd prefer a different thread premise than that-- if that's okay with you. Seth can tell her the tricks and trades of the Academy, of course, and I love sharing backgrounds! Let me know~
