It doesn't take much to strike up an interaction with De. She's generally bubbly and easygoing, and would be glad to go over something a student doesn't fully understand something or discuss things with a coworker. Since she hasn't been at the school for very long, she has plenty of connections that can be built with the other staff working along side of her.

To say Deirdre is easy to get along with would be an understatement. As long as one shows an interest in Pokemon and treats them kindly around her, chances are they won't be able to get her to shut up. As she had grown older, teaching grew more and more as a passion until it finally brought her to Gray Haven Academy. Now that she's here she still has plenty to learn about actually teaching.

While she can sometimes be a little overbearing as a friend, she puts her whole heart into it. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone more loyal than Deirdre.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, if you're looking for someone who will hold a grudge to the end of the earth, look no farther. Deirdre has absolutely zero tolerance for people who don't treat their Pokemon well. There's a reason she makes a point to keep track of where all of the Pokemon she breeds go, after all. If she even suspects someone of mistreating their Pokemon, she'll keep a cautious eye on them until proven otherwise.

While she hates to be undermined and have her plans or things messed with, she's much more understanding when that happens. As long as someone doesn't continuously do things to get on her nerves, she can let the minor annoyances slide~

All in all, a person's gender has never really mattered to De. She can get awkward and embarrassed around you, no matter what you are. The only problem is as such she's usually oblivious to anyone's advances. Since she's engrossed most of her life so deeply in her company, charity, and now teaching she hasn't really imagined herself crossing the line into romance. Not that she's opposed to it, by any means; what spare time she did have was spent reading some of the most ridiculous romance books and daydreaming about herself in the place of the protagonist.

A secret she plans on taking to the grave.

If she does realize someones actually flirting with her, she has a terrible tendency to stammer in confusion for a moment, before usually responding in the most awkward way imaginable. She'll get the hang of it, someday.

I think these two could have a nice little friendship if you're interested! They're around the same age so maybe Seth offers (or is assigned) to show De around? Perhaps they know each other from staff meetings but get to talking one post-meeting and have lunch or just get to know more about each other? Let me know if you're interested in a thread!

I believe these two could possibly know each other fairly well. For starters, they're both from the Hoenn Region. Although, they're both from different cities/towns, maybe the two of them ended up bumping into each other at some point. Another option would be that maybe after graduating from the Academy, Thea completed a small internship at De's facility? She does have a breeding/nursing background. Now, she's working at the Academy as a nurse. The two of them could still be good friends with each other and Thea could even assist De in some of her lessons related to raising baby Pokemon and using healing items and what not. Those are just a couple of suggestion! I'm also open for other ideas, too!

Althea could have definitely been an intern at her facility!  Keeping in touch with an ex intern is definitely something De would do, too.  Maybe they occasionally get together now that they're at the school to discuss things?  Maybe it didn't even occur to De that it's the same school since she's a ditz like that, so when they run into one another/exchange emails about it it's a bit of a surprise?  I'm open to ideas, too!

I think these two would hit it off pretty well since they both have blue hair they have some key things in common! They really like Pokemon (though honestly Kata might just like books better), they're compassionate, and they're charitable. Though they're different in a lot of ways too (Kata never ever holds a grudge, she's sort of scatterbrained, she tends to sugarcoat things), but that could make their interactions a lot more interesting. Maybe they should just meet up, see where it goes?
