From one mountain to another [MOD]

Serena had done a lot of exploring in the volcano, and it was time for a change of pace. Part of her wanted to explore some of the more familiar biomes, like the forest, but there were so many new things to explore here that it seemed like kind of a waste to go to one she already knew so well. Granted, for a few days she did just explore the forest while she adjusted to her new life in Harmonia Island, but as she grew more comfortable she also grew more adventurous. Rather than explore the forest today, she decided to explore the exact opposite of what she had been exploring lately: the icy mountains of the Vanilla Peaks.
It was cold, much colder than she was used to. She wished she brought a jacket when she realized exactly how ineffective her lava dorm uniform was at keeping her warm. Even Natalia seemed really uncomfortable with how cold it was. At that point, she decided she wasn't quite ready for the peaks yet, since they would likely be even colder and would likely have thin air that was difficult to breathe in. For now, she would just stick to the frozen caves. In the end, all she could think about was how stunning they were. She looked forward to seeing what kinds of creatures, Pokemon or otherwise, lived in this place.
