It had been a while since Felicity had taken the time to come back to her old stomping grounds. Not that she would actually go around stomping on the graves, she wasn't that macabre. During her time at the Academy, however, she would often spend time in the areas near her dorm. The graves were no exception. In fact, she would find herself there often, as though she was trying to get as close to the spiritual world as she could manage. At the very least she found it would often make her feel at peace more than anywhere else did, as though she could feel her sister on the other side of the veil pushing back.
She told herself that it was just silly to think that way, but she couldn't help it. Ghosts obviously existed, there was no ignoring that. Marion floating at her side was proof. Who was to say human ghosts couldn't not only appear, but communicate as well? All Felicity needed was one minute. That's all she so desperately wanted.
This time she wasn't here for that, though. After all that had gone on in the past few weeks, between seeing her killer and joining a practical gang, she wanted to clear her head. This had always been the best place for her to do that since moving to Harmonia Island, so here she was. She had dressed somewhat "normally" for her, a short length black dress with pink embroidery and black lace around the collar and edges of the long sleeves that covered her arms completely, pink stockings that matched said embroidery and lace, black ankle-high boots, a large pendant that hung at her throat, and one of her pink clutches slung over her shoulder. Her Shuppet could sense her unease, and floated around her trainer, trying to give her a worthwhile distraction and draw her attention away from the chaos that was her head.
Smiling, Felicity lifted her covered arms and plucked the Pokemon out of the sky, holding her in her arms. Marion feigned indignation and squirmed, to which Felicity began to laugh and shake her head. "You goof, I know perfectly well that if you didn't want to be held I wouldn't be holding you. I do, however, appreciate the distraction. You've always been so sweet to me." Sticking her tongue out, the Pokemon then beamed and snuggled into her trainer's arms, eyes closed as she apparently began to doze away. Another thing her Pokemon was obviously bluffing about, considering the little thing hardly ever slept. Ever. While people lying always infuriated her, whenever Marion did it it was endearing. After all, she knew that nine times out of ten it was just the Pokemon being silly to try and cheer her up.
Pokemon never lied for the same reason a Human did, either. When a human did it, it was usually to be malicious.
Her mood began to darken at those thoughts, and Marion squirmed in her arms to try and draw her attention out of it. Looking down at the ghost Pokemon, Felicity smiled and patted her on the head. "You're right, we're here to expend some energy, we shouldn't be holding it in on petty aggravations that don't even exist in the moment. What do you think, Mary, should we try to find some trouble to get into at the school while we're nearby?" She of course wouldn't dare do something like that now, especially since she was technically in an illegal organization, but it was fun to muse about.
What sounded like footsteps nearby drew her attention, and she stopped in her tracks, narrowing her eyes in that direction. "Hello? Who's there?" The fog was dense enough that she couldn't make out the exact features, but she could see that they looked... eccentric. Not that she had any place to talk, of course.

{Personally looking for a Sableye, or, if I'm somehow crazy lucky, a Spiritomb~}
