Sophia had prepared for something today. It was neither a party nor an event of any great magnitude, but a simple invitation to a singular individual. By all means, it was a normal event with no great importance in the grander scheme of things, but it was still very special for Sophia. After all, she rarely had the chance or the desire to invite somebody to her home. Or, in this case, room. Her schedule had always been so loaded up at home. Even here, she was fairly busy, even with her focus on much fewer subjects. That was why it was still a certainly special situation, inviting a person to her room. Seraphina didn't count, given they were roommates.
The guest? Sylvia Lane. A presumably younger student of the female persuasion with a gentle and agreeable- if not meek or restrained- personality and a willingness to cooperate for the sake of symbiotic growth. The girl had been a pleasure to meet, and a pleasure to work with. It might have just been the fact that she had a small part of her eggs thanks to her, but Sophia considered her a valuable partner, even if it might have been a one-time thing.
Speaking of eggs, Silk had barricaded himself up in the corner with well over a dozen eggs. He'd make a good father one day. Even if he was technically a father already. More than once, actually. Well, he liked the eggs. Whether it was a display of dominance or simply his interest, he personally collected and organized eggs around him. An egg fort, of sorts, he created. It was kind of cute, at least to her. Nearby, Cotton had reclined against the wall, the Flaaffy seemingly resting with Cloud in his lap. She was glad her longest-term Pokemon were so compatible with each other. In their own special ways, at least.
Sophia herself was dressed casually. Her gown could have been slept in, honestly, but the maroon garment, lightweight and fashioned properly, would have been acceptable in an outing to a store or other facility. It was a masterful combination of comfort, casual, and formal. Her hair was left free, flowing behind her. She never dabbled in perfumes, but she did have a faintly sweet air about her. That was, no doubt, due to the various sweets she'd been baking. It was a coincidence as to the timing, though.
With a plop into her desk's chair, she blinked. All she really had to do at that point was blink. Seraphina was likely going to be out all day doing whatever. Her roommate's side of the room was fairly clean, though that was mostly thanks to her. A clean room led to easier relaxation and concentration. Naturally, her side of the room was immaculate, outside of the mound of eggs- but she wouldn't consider that a mess.
A little bit of relaxing would be fine, just until her guest arrived.
