[Naveta Lejori]

The trip back to the mainland from Dark Moon Isle was about as uneventful as the trip there.  Firn worked really hard to make sure Naveta wouldn't feel anything more than a little bit of spray from the ocean, even if Swash didn't seem to care that much.  With any luck, she wouldn't have to go over there ever, or at the very least wouldn't have to go back until she had a pokemon big enough to actually ride on.  Despite how simple the trip was, it felt good to be on dry land again.  Naveta knew from a very young age that she had no future in the more marine parts of geology; she was much more happy with rocks and minimal moisture.

That was a good thing, because it was time to scale a fourth mountain on this volcanic island.  This one was especially weird, and given what she'd seen so far that was saying something.  The other mountain ranges on the island actually looked like real mountains.  This one was more like a three year old's drawing of a mountain.  Rather than the usual bumps and peaks that a mountain range might have, this one was a single peak and was basically a glorified triangle plopped onto the ground somehow. Her first thought was that it was volcanic too, but it showed no signs of it.  Harmonia continued to be a very strange place.

This mountain was absurd.  Not because it was difficult to deal with, but because it really was just a massive triangle.  How could something like this even form?  There was a bit more vegetation on it compared to the other mountains on this island (as weird as that feels to say), though most of it was too rocky to hold anything too big.  There was the occasional leafy tree, but otherwise it was just small grasses and bushes.  Nothing out of the ordinary beyond it being a fourth freaken mountain on a volcanic island, and being a giant triangle.

As she looked around, she heard a bit of rustling in the leaves of the tree she was standing under.  As she looked up, a wild pokemon fell down, landing on the top of her head.  She stared at it, and it stared at her.  It didn't seem to mind its new location and went to go back to sleep.  Naveta minded it a bit more, and knocked it off of her head.  The wild pokemon landed on its back with its arms sprawled out, blinked a couple of times, and once again, didn't seem to mind its new location and started to go back to sleep.  Naveta blinked slowly at the creature a few times.  She wasn't quite sure she wanted to catch this thing, but in the end, she wasn't one to say no to a pokemon.  Besides, this battle would be over instantly.  She released Rayleigh, who seemed pleased to finally see some action.

"Aura Sphere."

In the end that was the only command necessary.  Rayleigh let loose some of his inner energy at the wild pokemon.  It was a clear hit, but Naveta didn't see any difference in its behavior.  It was probably unconscious, it was just hard to tell given it was trying to be unconscious in a different way.  With a shrug, she threw a pokeball at it and added it to her team anyway.
